It is recommended by the USTA Sports Medicine office that all players should be hydrating now - before and during the event with the above recommendation. You should also be taking in carbs and potassium (bananas). We will make sure all players receive plenty of recovery time between matches. By starting the day with doubles you are getting your warm up in (as it is an 8 game proset for coubles).

Registration for all players will be held on Friday, July 6, between 5:00 and 8:00 PM at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center, 5620 Grand Drive in Forest Park, St Louis, MO 63112. PLAYERS WHO CANNOT BE AT REGISTRATION FRIDAY EVENING MAY REGISTER BY PHONE BETWEEN 6:30 PM AND 8:00 PM. CALL JUDY AT 314-603-4680. DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE - YOU MUST TALK TO TOURNAMENT STAFF. THANKS. PLAY BEGINS SATURDAY, JULY 7, WITH DOUBLES FOR ALL DIVISIONS. GIRLS AT 8:00 AM AND BOYS AT 9:00 AM.

Reservations for practice courts before the start of the tournament MUST be made through the facility - 48 hours in advance of your reservation. Please call 314-361-0177 to reserve a court. The cost is $5.00 per person. Please leave your return phone number when making your reservation. Your reservation is ONLY confirmed when you receive a return phone call. RESERVATIONS FOR SATURDAY ON MUST BE MADE AT THE TOURNAMENT DESK - BEGINNING FRIDAY, JULY 6, AT REGISTRATION. 7 - 8 AM EVERY DAY IS OPEN TO FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED. 8AM ON MUST BE RESERVED AT NO COST IN 15 MINUTE INCREMENTS AT THE TOURNAMENT DESK.

SATURDAY, WE WILL START AT 8:00 AM WITH 2 ROUNDS OF DOUBLES PLAY FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS. WE WILL THEN PLAY 1 ROUND OF MAIN DRAW SINGLES AND 1 ROUND OF BACKDRAW SINGLES ALSO ON SATURDAY. Main Draw singles will be 2 of 3 sets (deuce/ad) scoring. Backdraw singles will be 2 of 3 sets (deuce/ad) with a 10 point tiebreaker used in lieu of a 3rd set. Doubles will be an 8 game pro set (deuce/ad) scoring with a 10 point tiebreaker used at 8-8 in a set.

Boys 18 and Girls 18 Singles and Doubles. Singles is a full feed-in consolation. Doubles is single elimination. The entry fee includes singles and doubles. THIS IS THE PERFECT WARM UP TOURNAMENT FOR HARD COURT PLAY.

There will be no refunds for any players withdrawing after the entry deadline. The reason(s) for withdrawal must be in writing and sent by email to dipper20@gmail.com by the last day of the tournament in order to avoid suspension points for withdrawing without a legitimate cause. The Referee of the tournament will determine whether or not withdrawals are legitimate. Medical withdrawals MUST have cause in writing submitted by a Medical Professional.

The draws will be posted at registration at Dwight Davis Tennis Center by 5:00 PM. They will be posted online at the end of registration.
