If you forgot to pick up the DVD of your match please call and we can mail it to you. We had an amazing number of very talented players here this weekend. On Saturday we were just shy of having 50% of the front draw matches at Dayton Center Courts play a full third set, 8 of those also played a set tiebreak. One match played a full 3 sets with 2 set tiebreakers.

We will be playing two rounds of doubles the first day. E-mail is the quickest way to reach us. The information you give when you register is the information we will use to contact you in the event of any last minute changes due to withdrawals, illness, or injury so we suggest you enter a cell phone number if possible. Withdrawals must be via e-mail so you have our reply as confirmation of receipt. Those B18's playing at Five Seasons Dayton have recieved an e-mail with an address and details. ALL doubles will follow singles and play at Dayton Center Courts.
This is a NATIONAL LEVEL 2 TOURNAMENT MIDWEST LEVEL TOURNAMENT, 32 singles 16 doubles draw, fic, run indoors.
Players will be listed under competitors once national has made the selections and we will post alternate lists to this site within 48 hours.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY/BALLS/START TIMES/DVD RECORDINGS/Complimentary Internet
Play will start at 8am and start times will be posted above left under "Future Match Info" once they are available . Day 1 two rounds of singles and and one or two rounds of doubles. Day 2 two rounds of singles, one or two rounds of doubles. Day 3 the front draw will play the finals and 3/4 play-off while the consolation plays the quarters and semis, and the finals of the doubles will play. (The back draw matches are required.)
Singles front draw will play the best 2 out of three full sets. Consolation matches will play a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Doubles will be an 8 game Pro Set with a 7-Point Tiebreak at 8 games all. U.S. Open/Wilson Tennis Balls will be use with new balls in the front draw in the event of split sets.
We will post the start times followed by W:=second match time if they win (or) L:=second match time if they lose The Wednesday night before teh event by9pm. These times are subject to change based on withdrawals/defaults/long matches etc. but we hope this will help you to plan your weekend. Please do not call the club for your start times, our desk staff can not give out times. MATCHES AT THE MAIN SITE WILL BE RECORDED ON DVD and available for the parent or player to purchase on a first come first served basis. The first person to ask for it will get it unless both people ask before the match is over in which case we will make a copy. Singles matches are $40.00, doubles matches will be $20.00, with subsequent dvd's being discounted. We do broadcast complimentary internet in our lobby, log in to lobby.
AIRPORTS DAY-Dayton International 15 minutes from hotels and the club CMH-Columbus aprox. 80 minutes CVG-Cincinnati/Covington aprox. 80 minutes IND-Indianapolis aprox. 120 minutes.
DIRECTIONS/CHECK-IN/DRAWS The tennis club cannot be seen from the street. Please give yourself plenty of time to find us and use the directions posted on our website as Mapquest/Yahoomaps/GPS systems are often incorrect since the Trotwood connector went in. Practice Courts
Players can reserve practice courts, but please wait until First Match Start times are posted as there are no refunds or changes of reservations. Let the staff know that you are part of the tournament and receive a discounted court fee of $13.00 per half hour or $26 per hour. Practice courts must be paid over the phone by using a Visa or Master Card. Private hitting lessons fees are $32 per 1/2 hour, this fee includes the court time.
Things to know
We have a limited supply of ice. Please fill up your cooler and water jug before you come each day. Use the cubbies under the lobby tv for your racquet bag so you know exactly where to find it when we call for your match. Two chairs are on each court. Check-in is 20 minutes before each match except for 8am matches who may check in 15 minutes early. You must have your shoes on and be ready to go on the court when you check-in. Please remember that per Friend at Court late penalties now start at match time for all players scheduled for that time as long as 1 court is available. Draws will be updated on line throughout the day.
Withdrawals/ No Late Entries will be accepted unless there are fewer than 50 alternates.
• Withdrawal After the Entry Deadline: Players who withdraw after the entry deadline for any reason are not entitled to a refund. To withdraw before registration closes you go on line to the tournament web site and click on edit registration on the left hand column, then click on withdraw and follow the prompts. After registration closes withdraw by sending an e-mail, subject line Feb. NO, withdrawal, player name, and age division. The time received on the e-mail will be used for documentation.
ALTERNATES
Ordered alternates and up to date alternate status are listed under alternates by event. If you are one of the top 5 alternates in the last 48 hours please e-mail to either 1. Let me know you are no longer interested in coming or 2. e-mail with a contact number where I can reach you between the hours of 7am and 11pm. On-site alternates get a chance to play if there is a late withdrawal/no show. If you would like to register as an on-site alternate please e-mail 24 hours in advance to let us know you intend to come and to check and see what time you need to check-in. An on-site alternate reports to the tournament desk before the first matches for their division are scheduled and registers with us. If there is more then one on-site alternate who registered for the tournament present, you will be placed in order as per Friend at Court.
SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS/Point Penalty System/ Suspension Points
We will have a Sportsmanship award. Our roving officials will make recommendations, and the winners will be posted to this website. The Point Penalty System will be enforced for lateness, use of a Deity (God, Jesus, Christ, etc.), cussing, as well as abuse of racquet, ball, and/or the facility. Suspension points will be given for unsportsmanlike conduct, which includes misconduct at the hotel, as well as for no shows. No grace period or warnings will be given.
USTA RULES/CODE OF CONDUCT
Point Penalty System will be enforced IF YOU ARE LATE THE POINT PENALTY SYSTEM WILL BE ENFORCED, THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD. Players cannot enter two or more tournaments, matches, or exhibitions scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved approves the multiple entries in writing. (THE NATIONAL OPENS COUNT AS ONE TOURNAMENT AND YOU DO NOT NEED PERMISSION TO REGISTER FOR MULTIPLE AGE DIVISIONS OR SITES.)
Players who disregard this rule will be assessed 5 suspension points. Players who receive 10 or more suspension points during a 12-month period will be suspended for twelve consecutive weeks from competing in any USTA sanctioned event.
DRESS CODE Proper Attire is required. The top and bottom of your outfit must meet when your arms are at rest. No bare midriffs, spaghetti straps, alcohol or drug words, if it is objectionable you will have to change before going on the court which could incur a point penalty for a time violation.
