Medical Release: The United States Tennis Association requires a signed medical release covering all entrants in national USTA events. The release must be signed by the entrant and parent or guardian of any entrant who is a minor. Please complete the USTA/Medical Release Form and bring with you to tournament registration. Richardson High School (denoted as _RHS on draw sheets), 1250 West Belt Line Road, Richardson, TX 75080. There is no telephone here. Call the Tournament Director, Peter Hancy 214-695-6388 if there are problems. Directions to RHS from CCCC: Turn right out of the parking lot onto W LOOKOUT DR turn right onto CUSTER PKWY turn left onto W CAMPBELL RD turn right and take ramp to US 75, turn right onto W BELTLINE RD school courts will be on your left. If you reach COIT RD, you have gone too far.

CONTACT PHONE NUMBER Day of the tournament. Please make sure the Site Director has your contact (Mobile) phone number before you leave the site. Circumstances may arise in which the Site Director may need to contact you. There will be a pad available to provide a cell number.

Will be available Friday from noon onwards at Canyon Creek Tennis. Reservations can be made in 1/2 hr increments. If nobody needing to use you may stay longer than 1/2 hr. Doubles will be an 8 game pro set match, 10 point tie breaker at 8 ALL. No consolation in doubles. Entries for doubles will be accepted until 12 noon on Saturday. Draw online by 5pm. 1st round of doubles to begin SAT PM. All doubles partners are up-to-date of what I have received. If it's wrong let me know ASAP by emailing me to peterh@canyoncreektennis.com. If you don't see yourself on there then I haven't received an email telling me you want to play doubles. If you see doubles next to your name but no partner then I don't know who you want to play with. Some players who have doubles next to their names are looking for partners so if you see someone you want to play with get in touch with them and partner up. If you don't have an email then I will send an email with your request. Both players must agree.

All main draw matches will be best of 3 tie-break sets. All consolation matches will be best of 3 sets - 10 point tie- break in lieu of 3rd set.

Seeding is complete. Please refer to National Standing List 6-27-12 on Jr Competition website. Draws will be posted Mon or Tues.

Will be available at the Canyon Creek during the week of the tournament. Cost will be $12.00 plus tax with players own string. Players will receive 10% discount on all pro-shop merchandise during the tournament. Only cash or checks are accepted in the tennis pro-shop.

There will be an Athletic Trainer available at Canyon Creek 1/2 hr before the first match of the day each day. Her name is Dr Wendy Scott. She will also be available at RHS on Monday 1/2 hr before the first match of the day.

Officials will be available at all times during play. USTA point penalty system will be in effect and enforced.

Proper tennis attire with non-marking tennis shoes are required.

Grill service available daily on a cash basis except Tuesday since it's the club holiday each week. Pool privileges are available to players, parents and coaches. Shoes and shirt are required in the clubhouse at ALL times. Please be mindful of appropriate appearance and conduct at all times. No tennis bags in pro-shop or Grill area.

Water will be available on all courts at Canyon Creek and Richardson High School, however, you should have your own to be prepared. There are no cups on dispensers at RHS. Make sure you have a water bottle to refil. Continual hydrating will be most important as the heat index could be over 100 degrees during the tournament.

Must be turned off near or on courts. This applies to both players and spectators. Absolutely no text messaging during matches.

There are no refunds offered for this tournament after the entry deadline has closed.

The tournament hotel is the Courtyard Marriott, 2191 N. Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75082 Room rate: $64/night plus taxes. Add $5 for a "grab and go" breakfast. This rate is only available until Mon June 25 so please make reservations ASAP if applicable to you.

All juniors may enter. Draws limited to 64 in singles, 32 teams in doubles. The USTA Regional Segment Championships (a.k.a. Texas Open) is a Level 3 national junior tournament There is still a couple of spots available in the draw for boys and several in the girls. Even if you email me and don't get straight in, there is still a chance if players withdraw to get in. Email me ASAP if you're interested to the email address listed above.

There are still spots available so if you email me (peterh@canyoncreektennis.com) you will get straight in until its a 64 draw.
