On SIte Doubles Registration: MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS!!
Mandatory Doubles Sign-in – Boys’ and Girls’ 12s & 14s
• ALL players MUST register for doubles by 10 AM on Saturday, October 27th regardless of whether you have signed up online or via email. You may register at either the Resort or Country Club Tournament desk.
o ALL Doubles will begin on Saturday at the RESORT
o Boys’ & Girls 12s at 3 PM and Boys’ & Girls' 14s at 4:30 PM (might play 2 rounds)

MANDATORY Player Registration: Boys’ and Girls’ 12s & 14s
Friday, October 26th at the El Conquistador Resort Tennis Shop between 3:30-5:30
• ALL players MUST register at the Hilton El Conquistador on 10/26 between 3:30-5:30 with a contact number, hotel information, AND REQUIRED Medical Release form.
o Players will NOT be allowed to play without the signed form.

Match Formats – Boys’ and Girls’ 14s
• Main Draw Singles (including play-off for 3rd and 4th place): Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets.
o If a third set is needed, there will be a ten minute break allowed at the end of the second set. Coaching is allowed during this break.
Match Formats – Boys’ and Girls’ 12s
• Main Draw Singles (including play-off for 3rd and 4th place): Best 2 out of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10 point Match Tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd.
o If players split sets, there will be a three minute break allowed at the end of the second set. Coaching is allowed during this break. PLAYERS MUST REMAIN ON COURT DURING THE 3 MINUTE REST PERIOD. COACHES MAY COME ON COURT.
• Feed-In Championship (FIC) Matches: Best 2 out of 3 Sets with a 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd Set.
o If players split sets, there will be a three minute break allowed at the end of the second set. Coaching is allowed during this break. PLAYERS MUST REMAIN ON COURT DURING THE 3 MINUTE REST PERIOD. COACHES MAY COME ON COURT.
• Doubles Matches: 8 Game Pro Set with a 10-Point Tiebreak at 8 games all.
The FIC is considered part of the tournament and participation is mandatory for all singles main draw players as well as 3rd/4th place play-offs for singles and doubles.
Officials & Court Monitors
• Will be on site at all times. The Hilton El Conquistador Teaching staff are certified officials but do not wear the uniform as we have our own dress code. If in doubt, please go to the Tournament Desk
Physical Therapist
• Will be available at the Resort site for the duration of the event.
Practice Courts
• Practice Courts will be available on a first come, first serve basis at both the Resort and Country Club sites each day before matches begin and after play ends. For practice courts during the day, while matches are on court, the following facilities are available:
o Ironwood Ridge High School – open to public on Saturday & Sunday

Ice Cream Social & Events
• Saturday and Sunday afternoon Ice cream will be provided for the players at the Resort after singles play. Please check the Tournament boards for any/all updates regarding the event.

NOT playing Doubles???
Both the USTA and the Tournament Committee encourage play. To that end, all participants, unless you have already notified us, HAVE BEEN PUT IN DOUBLES.
If you do NOT wish to participate please notify us via email as soon as possible.
If you ARE playing and know your partner please let us know. If you are looking for a partner you have until the morning of the 27th to sign up.

If you and your partner are not currently listed as a team please email the information. There will be a final opportunity to sign up the morning of the 27th, deadilne time tbd, and play will begin following singles on the 27th.

Please email Ruth Fuchs and Linda Helixon (ruthleagues@aol.com and lindaleagues@aol.com). The tournament committee will review all requests and make their selections by October 17th, 2012. Recipients will be notified by committee upon selection.
