You may warm up each morning beginning at 6:00 am until 7:20 am. We will start lining courts at 7:20 for the matches.

Tennis center will be open until 8pm Friday night for check in for the tournament. If you arrive later, please check in at least 45 minutes before your match Saturday morning. We will have a check in table in the lobby.

You may check in at the lobby of Westgate Tennis Center beginning at 2:30 pm on Friday July 6 until we close at 8pm Friday. Every player must turn in a completed Medical Release form and a survey at check-in. (Copies of medical release will be on hand if you don't bring one.) A brief meeting with the referee & pizza party will be at 6:00 pm at Westgate Tennis Center. Food is available for everyone who is traveling with you.

At check-in there will be a double sign-in. You must sign the doubles list at check-in to remain in doubles. You have until 9:00 am Saturday morning to add your name, add a partner or remove your name from the doubles list. At 9 am Saturday we will begin making the doubles draw. First doubles match will be played Saturday afternoon following the singles matches. Beginning on day 2 of the tournament, doubles matches will be played first each morning followed by singles play.

Westgate Tennis Center's official local address is 810 Recreation Road within Westgate Park. That address, however, does not pull up on most gps equipment. Therefore, you can use the following address to get driving directions to Westgate Tennis Center: 604 Whatley Drive, Dothan, AL 36303. (This address is across the street from us and will get you here perfectly.)

This Regional event is also the USTA Southern’s “Southern Open”. Therefore, this event is a Southern Level 1A point event. This “Southern Level” only applies to the Regional events that are our Southern Opens (B&G 12’s –Dothan AL, B&G 14’s – Pelham, AL, B&G 16s – Columbus, GA, and B&G 18’s – Birmingham, AL).

No player will be allowed on court until they have turned in signed medical releases completed in full. Dothan's local airport is the Dothan Regional Airport (334-983-8100). Delta Airlines connects into Dothan. Most people connect to Dothan through Atlanta, Georgia, Panama City, FL or Tallahassee, Florida. Contact the airport for additional information. more info

USTA will process all online entrants. Once they have completed all the steps, they will email us that we can then download our entrants. Anyone who does not get into a tournament directly will be put on the alternate list for all sites they listed. USTA expects to complete their processing and send us an email to ok our downloading players by sometime Tuesday morning. (approximate time) Once we receive that email, we will download our players, order our alternates and add late entries at the bottom of the alternate list. We will then upload so you can see on the website who is in the tournament.

All you have to do is email or phone us to say yes you want into Dothan's site or NO you do not want in Dothan's site. Since we may not be your first choice, we cannot put you into the tournament until we hear from you even though there is room to accept all the alternates. We need a yes or no and payment information in order to enter you. Thanks.
