I regret to note that the tournament was cancelled due to torrential rain. Any questions regarding points may be directed to the USTA by emailing Nancy Perkins at NPerkins@texas.usta.com. Rankings have now been published and should show the points that were earned through the matches that were played (and completed).

There are a few consolation draws that I was not able to schedule due to unavailability of courts. In the event the site agrees to stay open longer than agreed, I will schedule them. Be sure to re-check those draws later tomorrow morning or call the site at 345-4700 mid to late morning.

All matches for Sunday at St. Stephen's (THIS SITE ONLY), those in progress when the rain began and those yet to be played, will be rescheduled for Monday. ALL players with matches at St. Stephen's on Sunday MUST RE-CHECK DRAW(S) FOR NEW MATCH TIMES and possible SITE CHANGE. I will work into late evening to reschedule these draws. MAIN DRAW MATCHES WILL BE SCHEDULED FIRST, CONSOLATION LAST as time and courts permit. Expect shortened formats of 2 all and 10-point COMAN tie-breaks for 3rd sets.

Players: We are currently experiencing inclement weather at St. Stephen's and The Courtyard. All matches in progress will resume play at 6:00 p.m. tonight. All other matches will have shortened formats so players should plan to come only 1and 1/2 hours after scheduled time. For instance, a match scheduled for 6 pm should report at 7:30 pm. Matches that were scheduled between 4 and 6pm should report at 7 p.m. According to the national weather service, we may experience rain the remainder of this evening. If this is the case, all match play will be cancelled until Monday morning. Please check this website for further inclement weather and match delay updates.

According to the latest weather forecast, the storm late Friday evening is scheduled to move out of the area and we should have good weather for a good portion of the day on Saturday. Players should report to their sites at their regularly scheduled match time on Saturday.
