Thanks for a great tournament this weekend! The last match just finished at 9:30 PM, all scores have been updated, and we have selected Matthew Katz as the Canyon Creek ZAT Sportsmanship Award winner--he'll win a free week at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch next summer. If you had your picture taken today we'll get those up on our club website which is www.canyoncreektennis.com--but it might be a week before we get to that project!

Wilson Night This Friday
If you are in the 8, 10, 12, and 14 and under age groups you're invited to participate in Canyon Creek's famous Wilson Nights! As a matter of fact, there's one coming up this Friday, August 20 from 6:30-10:30 PM. Wilson Nights are match play nights held on Friday evenings throughout the year from 6:30-10:30 PM. You'll play several sets of singles, a couple of doubles sets (don't worry, you'll find a partner the night of the event) get a free t-shirt, and enjoy all the drinks, snacks and sno cones you can eat! We'll make sure you win a couple and lose a couple of matches so you get some excellent practice in a fun non-elimination format! Dates for the rest of the year are August 20, September 10, October 15, and October 22. Register online at www.usta.com or phone the tennis shop at (972) 231-2881 to register. Contact Sally Frame at sallys@canyoncreektennis.com with any questions...you'll love Wilson Nights!
