Great Tennis Under the Lights

Although Hot during the day most of the Top Seeds got through to set-up some great Semi-Final Matches on Saturday, both on the Women's and the Men's side. In addition, big crowds gathered for some Friday Night Tennis under the Lights for some thoroughly entertaining doubles.

Our first Open Winners of 2006 is the Mixed Doubles Team of Mark Boren and Allie Shaffner. A big congratulations to both of them.

We look forward to seeing you here this weekend to watch some highly entertaining tennis. Please check match schedules as some matches had to be changed. In particular, one of the Men's Open Doubles Semi-Finals will be played at 6:00 p.m. Eric Rose and Sam Hitman Tennis Directors Gates Tennis Center

Down to the Final Weekend

All the BIG HITTERS are on court. Come out and watch some Great Tennis! Check either the Draws or the Daily Schedule to see when the Feature Matches go on court.

In addition the NTRP Events are coming to a front as the top players from draws that were in the neighborhood of 128 players have narrowed to 8 and by Saturday to 4 and then just two remaining for Sunday's Finals.

In addition, we are especially pleased to welcome Mayor Hickenlooper for Sunday's Open Singles Finals as he will be our Honorary Guest to Present the Awards to the Champions and Finalists.

Times for Finals of NTRP Events

All NTRP Singles Finals will held on Sunday, July 16th at 9:00 a.m.

All NTRP Men's and Women's Doubles Finals will be held on Sunday, July 16th at 12 noon

The 4.0 and 4.5 NTRP Mixed Doubles Finals will be held on Sunday, July 16th at 12 noon unless it conflicts with players involved in the NTRP Men's or Women's Doubles Finals. If this is the case, the Mixed Doubles will be held at 3:00 p.m.

Another Great Day of Tennis at the Gates Tennis Center has been wrapped-up for Tuesday, July 11th!

We want to Thank All the Participants and Surrounding Clubs that went Beyond Our Expectations to help make the 2006 Colorado State Championships one that will not be soon forgotten.

We are happy to say that we are completely back on schedule and look forward to meeting the many people we had a chance to speak with during those crazy two days of rain.
