IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

All players and parents are to be at Timrod Park for a mandatory 8:30am players/parents meeting. We recommend that you get to Timrod Park no later than 8:15am to check in and allow your player time to get their tournament t-shirt.

DIRECTORS NOTE:

This is a one day tournament for juniors that are new to tennis and tournament play. Singles will be played in the morning with a break for lunch and then doubles for those that wish to play after lunch.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Players must be able to serve and keep score. Players are not eligible to play if they have accumulated more than 200 points.

MANDATORY MEETING:

There will be a meeting of all players and parents at 8:30am just prior to the beginning of play. Following the meeting matches will begin in Round Robin format.

PLAY:

*** 8 and Under will play on a 36’ Court using foam balls
*** 10 and Under will play on a 60’ Court using low compression balls
*** All players will have appropriate racquets (19" - 25").
*** Round Robin format
*** Each "round" will consist of a 6 game set with no-ad scoring.

AMENITIES:

* Water and Gatorade (Provided by Pepsi) will be available during matches.
* Lunch will be provided for all participants.
* All participants will get a tournament t-shirt.
