Host Hotel
The Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center is serving as the host hotel for our event. The hotel is located on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay and is an all-suites facility. The hotel is located within five minutes of the Virginia Beach Tennis and Country Club and offers shuttle service between the facilities. Reservations can be made by calling (800)468-722, or (757)481-9000. Please be sure to mention the tournament to receive the discounted rate that has been set aside for our event.

Tournament Registration
Tournament registration will be held Saturday, July 18th from 3:00 - 5:00pm at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center. A player dinner will be held from 5:00 - 6:30p.m. at the hotel. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE REGISTRATION, WE MUST BE NOTIFIED BY FRIDAY, JULY 17th, BY EMAIL to lhackbirth@cox.net (preferable) OR BY CALLING (757)481-7545, ext. 5.

DOUBLES REGISTRATION
We will be accepting doubles entries until Saturday, July 18th at 5:00p.m.. The doubles draw will be made immediatley following the entry close. Doubles play will start on Sunday, July 19th. You may email doubles entry information to lhackbirth@cox.net until Friday, July 17th.

Practice Courts
Practice courts will be available at the Virginia Beach Tennis & Country Club prior to and during the tournament. Courts prior to the start of the tournament can be reserved by calling the pro shop at (757)481-7545, ext. 0. You may book courts 3 days in advance in one hour increments. Practice courts for Sunday, July 19th, may be booked during registration.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALL PLAYERS BRING A SIGNED MEDICAL RELEASE FORM TO THE TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION OR SEND IT TO US BY EMAIL OR FAX. PLAY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED WITHOUT THIS FORM BEING TURNED IN PRIOR TO THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT. PLEASE OBTAIN A COPY OF THIS FORM THROUGH THE USTA WEBSITE OR THROUGH YOUR SECTION PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT. THIS IS NOT ONLY OUR RULE, IT IS A RULE SET BY THE USTA!

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 25, 2009 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
