Forest Hills has been hit by a tornado. Fortunately there were no injuries at the club however the courts have sustained significant damage. Due to extensive damage to the clay courts ALL CONSOLATION MATCHES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE DURATION OF THE EVENT. We will not be able to get the courts playable. The grass courts sustained less damage and will probably be playable but at present, we do not know when. Updates will be posted as they are available.

Manhattan Hotel in a PERFECT LOCATION at a Great Price
We are delighted to be able to offer a reasonably priced midtown Manhattan hotel that's in a great location. The Park Savoy is one block from Central Park, Carnegie Hall and Fifth Avenue and a short walk to the theatre district. It is also a half block from the F train which will get you to Forest Hills in about 20-30 minutes. This is a European style hotel which means the rooms are quite small though they include private bath and continental breakfast. Rates range from $115-195 per room incl. taxes. Most rooms are $165. (Rates look lower on Expedia because they do not include taxes.) Full disclosure: These great prices are due to construction next door. The workmen generally start at 7am but finish by 3pm so this is perfect for early risers.
Contact Vesna Dojcilovic to book and be sure to mention the tournament. Vesna can be reached at 212-586-5601 or Parksavoy@aol.com. City lovers need to check this out!
