Match schedules will/have been modified slightly to enable the matches to be played indoors in the event of rain. Saturdays matches are as scheduled and if modification are required, they will be done real time at the club. Sunday's matches were slightly modified to accommodate all matches indoors if necessary. If possible, the Finals will be played outside.

Doubles will be a singlie elimination event. The Doubles draw and schedule will be published on Saturday. First round of doubles to start Thur 2:00 . For those that entered singles and doubles, or multiple doubles, the schedules in the later rounds may have to be modified to assure reasonable rest between matches.

While all avoidance requests were considered, every effort was made to assure that your request was honored for at least your first match, and in most cases your second match. However, it was not possible to assure that the request was honored for the back draws and after your 3rd round in the main draw. We appreciate your understanding.

Please check the web site daily. Unless a change is made that effects the play on that day, you will not be called. This is particularly true of the consolation matches. In a FMLC, although the schedule shows a match, you may not have a match if in depends on the winner of a second round. This is not updated until after that round is completed. There have been some minor changes, primarily to th back draw. But a few of the main draws were changed on Wed and Thur. Please check you schedule.

This tournament has been designated as one of the new USTA "Super Category II" tournaments. Please refer to the new Points Per Round Tables to see the value of each round reached.

Tournament finals are scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2009. 55's finals will be scheduled early in the day to allow for travel to subsequent events. Generally, one singles match per day is planned. For events with 16-32 players, play will start on Wednesday, September 23. Events with 33-64 players will start on Tuesday, September 22.

Due to the generosity of Tournament Sponsors Grant Thornton LLP and Farmer's Insurance, there will be a welcome cookout for all players and their guests on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:00 P.M. On Friday evening, September 25, at 6:00 P.M., the club will host a cocktail party at the Tennis Patio for all players, their guests, and club members.
