USTA National Men's 70, 85 & 90 Clay Court Championships

All Draws will be made and posted September 23 by 5:00 p.m. Why? • Currently there are 66 players entered in the 70’s singles. With the potential of further drop outs, we are not going to make or post the draw until Wednesday, September 23 at 5:00 p.m. • Two more drop outs would allow us to use a 64 draw size which utilizes more efficient play in the draw. • The 85’s & 90’s doubles events will remain open for entry until Monday, September 28th. The draw will close at 12:00 noon that day with draws posted and available by 5:00 p.m. at the “Meet the Players Party”.

• 85's & 90's Doubles start Tuesday afternoon

Pinehurst Resort offers our tournament participants a special rate of $109/single - $54.50 per person/double, per night in the newly renovated Manor Inn. Two and three bedroom condos are available at $135 per bedroom per night (maximum two persons per bedroom). Driving time: 1 hour 15 minutes • Leaving RDU take I-40 East • Follow I-40 east for 8.7 miles • Exit #293 onto U.S. #1 South to Sanford • Follow US #1 south to Southern Pines for approximately 60 mile • On the outskirts of Sanford, DO NOT exit onto Highway 15-501 South • Disregard the sign to “Pinehurst/Carthage” stay on US #1 • US #1 South exit onto Midland Road / Hwy 2 West, continue to follow Hwy 2 West • Proceed for 3.8 miles to the traffic circle in Pinehurst • To enter the traffic circle, you must be in the left lane • Enter the traffic circle and take the third exit off which is Hwy 2 West • Proceed on Hwy 2 West for 1.5 miles • Enter the Round-About and take the third right onto Carolina Vista to the Tennis Club • The Tennis Club is the first building on the left • Parking available on both sides of the building.

Driving time: 1 hour 40 minutes • Leaving the airport turn left onto Airport Parkway. • At the second stop light, turn left onto Hwy. 68 South. • Follow Hwy. 68 south for 1.7 miles and exit onto Interstate 40 East. • Follow I-40 east for 9 miles and exit onto Hwy. 220 South. • Follow Hwy. 220 south for 51 miles to Candor and exit on Hwy. 211 East. • Follow Hwy. 211 east for 17 miles and turn right onto Hwy. 5 South. • Follow Hwy. 5 south for 1 mile to the traffic light and turn left onto Hwy. 2 East. • Enter traffic Round-About and take first right onto Carolina Vista • Tennis Club is first building on left with parking available on both sides of the building.
