Welcome to the Tournament - Pertinent Information
Welcome to the Maine Pines National Tournament! Here is pertinent information you need to know: 1. Tournament Director Andrea Georgian’s cell phone: 207-576-3630; ag4tennis@yahoo.com (will check emails frequently during the tournament and is a good way to contact). Phone reception in the club isn’t great: the club’s phone is 207-729-8433. 2. Stringer: Jason Terry: jason.terry718@gmail.com, 207-807-3643. See above for club number 3. Sports Trainer available on site for Athletic Training needs (icing, taping, stretching). 4. Player Lounge: Located on the 2nd floor of Maine Pines in Spin Room. 5. If you plan to leave tournament site in between matches please let the Director know. 6. Lobster Bake at Thomas Point Beach, Saturday 6pm, directions included. Bring the ticket in your welcome packet. Join us for our annual free tournament dinner on the beach! Rain back up at the Masonic Lodge in Brunswick. 7. French Open Brunch Sunday morning at 9am at Maine Pines (free) 8. Please report scores immediately after finishing your match at the tournament desk. If you lose you get placed in the consolation round so make sure you know your start time for that. 9. Towels will be available behind the front desk for you to use to shower. When done please place in towel bin in Men’s Room. 10. Tshirt: Make sure you get your player tshirt when you check in. 11. Payment: Please check in at the front desk upon arrival to see if you need to make payment. We hope you have an amazing tournament experience!

This tournament is an ITF Seniors Event.

Lobster Bake Saturday Night!
Come join us Saturday night of the tournament for a Lobster Bake at
beautiful Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick. All players and their
families are welcome to come for free. Our location for the dinner is
right on the water. There is a playground for kids and a lot of space
for games like frisbee, bocce, and crocquet. Dinner will include
lobster, burgers, hot dogs, salad, and many side dishes and munchies.

On Site Trainer Services
On site athletic trainer services will be provided by MidCoast Therapy Center at Maine Pines. Their hours will be from 8-5 Thursday - Sunday. Services provided will be icing, taping, and stretching help. Bring your own e-stim machine if you would like to use that. Thank you!

Start Times & Late Penalties
Per Friend of Court, late penalties will be imposed. Please show up EARLY for your matches.

Accommodations/Housing
If you need help or suggestions with housing, we can offer the
following: 1. Free housing with one of our members; 2. Discounted rate at the Fairfied Inn in Brunswick ($99). The Inn is about 2 miles from Maine Pines, and includes a pool, fitness room, and continental breakfast. To book call: 207-721-0300. Let me know if you have any questions!

Draws are Posted
Dear Players, tournament draws are posted. Please show up EARLY for your matches, leaving time for traffic, getting lost, etc. Per Friend of Court, late penalties will be imposed if necessary.

Stringer Services
Our on site stringer, Jason Terry, will be available for stringing. We have Babolat, Head, and Solinco. If you prefer certain strings, either call the club prior to the tournament to see if we have them in stock, or bring your own. His direct email is jason.terry718@gmail.com.

Thursday Start Times
Please be available to start singles on Thursday morning. Times can be a bit later if draw size is small, but otherwise please be available for a morning singles start.

USTA Category I Championship (ITF Grade A)
This tournament will receive USTA Category I
and ITF Grade A ranking points per round won (Please note, the ITF only ranks Men’s & Women’s 35-85 and over
singles, doubles, and mixed. If you are
playing in any other division, you will not earn ITF ranking points). In order to receive USTA ranking points for
this tournament, a player must be a current USTA member. In order to receive ITF ranking points, a
player must have a valid ITF IPIN BEFORE the start of the tournament. To find

FOREIGN PLAYERS
Non U.S. citizens may enter this tournament
without the purchase of a USTA membership. You may do so, as long as you are in
good standing with your home federation and have a current ITF IPIN. You must
also create a free USTA account. Once
you have done so, you may email the tournament director with your new USTA
account number, remit payment, and be entered into the tournament. To create

For Adult & Senior National Rankings: This tournament will calculate as a Category I (10x). Champions will receive 1000 points.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, May 25, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
