Bluegrass Weevil Infestation
Due to several waves of Bluegrass Weevil infestation the grass courts are in less than pristine condition. The Greenskeeper and entire grounds crew have been doing everything in their power to reduce & repair the damage. We expect the courts to be in reasonable condition in time for the tournament.

Practice Courts
Practice courts may be booked one day in advance. All practice courts must be reserved through the Tournament Desk. Players may book one hour of practice time, four players to a court. A second hour may be booked after completion of the first though players who have not yet played have priority over those who have. If the grass courts are not available, clay courts will be available. To utilize practice court time more efficiently, it is suggested that players practice serves on clay courts #33-36 (the “small bubble” courts). ABSOLUTELY NO GRASS COURT SHOES ARE TO BE WORN ON THE COURTS. PLEASE RESPECT THE ALL WHITE DRESS CODE FOR ALL PEOPLE ON THE COURT. THIS INCLUDES COACHES & GUESTS. THE DRESS CODE APPLIES TO HATS, VISORS & SHOES ON BOTH MATCH & PRACTICE COURTS. Courts may not be booked more than 24 hours in advance. Call the Tournament Desk/Pro Shop at 718-268-2300 x127. There is no charge to tournament entrants for practice courts.

However, when a receiver reverses a fault call on a serve that hit the net, the server is entitled to two serves. (2013 Friend At Court, The Code p.46 #12)
