IA Bettendorf Adult Open

Due to rain, all 8AM matches are to report to the Quad City Tennis Club in Moline Il.  All other match times are to report to the QCTC 1 hour later then their original posted time.

QCTC Directions:

In Bettendorf, 74 East into Illinois.  Continue on 74 E to John Deere Rd. West. Proceed on JD West to your first stop light and take a left to the Wendy’s on your right.  Hang a right at Wendy’s and the QCTC will be at the end of the road on your left.

New Women’s Open Singles Draw Made!!!!

Due to a missing player in the original draw after it was posted and she registered on tennislink, a new draw has been made and posted.  Please review and we appreciate your understanding the administrative error.

Also, all players are welcome to have a free lunch provided by Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches of Bettendorf.  Sandwiches will be available at Pleasant Valley High School headquarters from 12:30- 2:00PM Saturday.

Women’s 3.0 & 3.5 Singles has been combined under W 3.5’s (Round Robin Draw).

All those that have not paid their fees need to check-in at Pleasant Valley High School before you go to your playing site.  Players should be at their first Singles match site 15 minutes earlier then the draw posted time after checking in at PVHS.

Doubles Schedule and Sites:

Men Open- 2:00PM PVHS

Men’s 45 & 55- 2:00 PM at BHS

Women’s Open & NTRP 3.0/3.5/ 4.0- 2:00 PM at BHS

Draws will be posted at Noon on Saturday as players may still sign-up for play until Saturday at 11AM.

5PM- All Mixed Doubles

Saturday, August 9^th

8AM- All Men’s Singles events.

9:30AM- All Women’s Singles events.

2:00PM- All Doubles events.

Sunday, August 10th

9AM all Finals and Semi’s as needed.

Singles Match Times and check in times:

Match times for all singles divisions will be posted on the draws by 5PM Thursday. Second round match times are tentative based on duration of first round match. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR SITE DIRECTOR FOR MATCH TIME.

Tournament Start Time

All first round matches will begin at 8AM unless you have a bye. You must check in 30 minutes prior to posted match time. Check-in will be at the Pleasant Valley High School. Please be advised check in time will be from 7:00AM- 7:30AM Saturday morning.

Doubles Draws

Players will be allowed to enter the doubles events at the tournament desk by 11AM Saturday morning. Doubles matches may start @ 1:00PM depending on the draw size for each division.

Mixed Open, 35 and 45 Doubles draws will be posted by 5PM Thursday. 

Mixed doubles matches will start at 5PM Friday evening.  Check-in will be from 3:30- 4:30 at Pleasant Valley High School.

Tournament Headquarters and check in site

Pleasant Valley High School will be the headquarters and you will need to check in here first.  Bettendorf Middle School and Bettendorf High School will also be used.

Scoring

All matches this year will be 2 out of 3 sets w/ a Super Tie Breaker being played instead of a full 3^rd set.  M/W Open Singles/Doubles Semi’s & Finals will be a full 3^rd set.
