PLAYER SELECTION TYPE, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Florida uses the "Player Selection Type" of Tournament Director Selection. This means that players listed on the Internet as "Applicants", i.e. those who have entered on the Internet, are not selected to the Competitor list until after the tournament deadline. This way Applicants are not charged any fees to their credit card until after the entry deadline. Those players appearing on the Competitor list before the entry deadline have entered by paper entry. Before the entry deadline, if you are on either the Applicant or Competitor List before the entry deadline, you are in the tournament. After the entry deadline, all players will appear on the Competitor List.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
