Matches at Broomfield High School tomorrow
Players and Parents,
Thank you all for signing up for the Broomfield Swim and
Tennis Junior Challenger event. We have a great day of tennis ahead of us
tomorrow. We will be hosting our matches tomorrow at the brand NEW Broomfield
High School Courts. These courts will offer exceptional viewing, as well
as a great player experience.
Players should arrive 15 minutes before their first match of
the day to check in. Please allow extra time for parking as there will be other
events taking place on the grounds.
Players should plan to play all of their scheduled matches.
Match times are approximate. Check in prior to your scheduled match time, but
know that tennis is a sport with no set time domain. In divisions with multiple round robins, the
first place finishers will advance to play-off for 1st place.
We will have water on site. It is recommended that you bring
snacks and sports beverages to consume between matches. Bring plenty of
sunscreen! Courts are serviced by porta-potties. Our locker rooms are available
down the road at Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club for our tournament players and
their guests if needed.
In an effort to ensure a great day of tennis, I ask that all
players and parents review “The Code”. This covers the expectations for player
conduct. Sportsmanship amongst players and parents will ensure we all keep
building the sport of tennis together.

Event Format
This tournament will utilize a unique non-elimination flighted round-robin format. The goal for this event is to maximize competitive match-ups for each participant. Players should anticipate having no fewer than 3 match-ups throughout this one day event, and as many as 5. Given that this is a one day event and the nature of the format of play, we are unable to accommodate schedule requests.
Players should be prepared to play as early as 8 AM on Sunday. We will try and provide players with a 4 hour block of play. Players will be given a maximum of 30 minutes rest between match ups, so please prepare meals, snack, and hydration accordingly.
