Weather
A system is moving thru the area. We think it will only be a short delay. First round matches hopefully starting soon. It is not raining here.

Venues
There are two Main venues. The Carbondale High School 1301 E Walnut Carbondale Il 62901. SIU Carbondale University courts 201-299 Marion Rushing Ln Carbondale IL 62901. John A Logan College 700 Logan College Dr Carterville Il 62918 will be used for some of the back draw.This may change according to Draw sizes. We look forward to another great Tournament.

Sportsmanship
Please be kind and courteous to all athletes and spectators. We want to provide a great tournament experience for all who attend.

Scoring
We are using a 10 point tie breaker in lieu of a third set in Singles and Doubles.

Attention Players
There will not be a stringing machine on site. Please have your raqts ready to play. Also don't forget to being water and sunscreen.

Athletes and Parents
We want to thank you for supporting our tournament in honor of my father Jim Pearce. We have worked night and day to provide the best draws possible for all players. Draws will be posted at 5pm. Tears flow down my face as I am posting this. We look forward to meeting each and every one of you. My father would be proud.

Prize Money for Mens 35s
Champion $200. Runner Up $100. Semifinalist $50.

Start Times
In the past this has been a two day tournament. Saturday and Sunday. We advertise it as a four day tournament because we never know how large the draws will be or the possibility we get inclement weather. Please watch for updates.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, May 21, 2018 9:00:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
