SRP -
All singles matches have been rescheduled.
The format will be as follows:
The format for all rounds in progress will remain the same.
12s/14s All Main Draw Matches: 8 game pro set; regular ad
scoring
12s/14s All Consolation Matches: 1 set to six games; regular ad

The tournament committee decided this was the best format given the

(1/15).
If your second round is not scheduled, this means your second round
match will go on immediately after your first round match. A 5
minute rest will be offered to all consolation matches. A 30 minute
rest period will be offered to all main draw matches. Additional
time may be requested, and will be granted at the discretion of the
site referee.
Several forecasts show rain in this area early Sunday morning. The
I will be at SRP starting at 8. If there are rain delays, they will
be posted here. Please double check online prior to emailing or
calling me.
Due to restrictions on the amount of matches a player can play per
day, there is a possibility that doubles (B/G 12s/14s) matches will
be abandoned. This is dependent on player's performance in singles.
All doubles matches were left unscheduled for this reason. After
singles results are determined, doubles matches will be scheduled
on a case-by-case basis. For more information, please email me or
ask me at the desk tomorrow. There will not be any doubles matches
before 1pm.

Player/Parent Contact Info
Tournament directors do not have access to phone numbers and email
addresses of the tournament participants UNLESS the player
re-enters their contact information at time of event registration.
This means that if a player does not enter their phone and email
information each time they register for a tournament, the
tournament director will not be able contact them for any reason,
including withdrawals, defaults, byes, rain delays, etc. Your
cooperation will ensure that tournaments can continue to
communicate necessary information to you. Thank you.

division.
Late Entries:
Entries after January 3rd will be accepted at the tournament
director's discretion. All late entries will be charged a $10 late
fee that will be applied to the total entry cost.
Withdrawal Policy
PLEASE let the tournament director know ASAP if you withdraw from
an event. This is if you can't make your scheduled time, an
illness, or injury, so we can contact your opponent. THIS IS
EVEN IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO PLAY A CONSOLATION MATCH!
If a player withdraws or defaults (for reason other than illness or
injury) from any sanctioned tournament in the Southwest Section
(L3-L6), after entries close, that player will be assessed 4
suspension points unless medical documentation of the injury or
illness is provided to the Tournament Director AND Southwest
Section Junior Player Development Manager within 48 hours after
the completion of the tournament.
"Player shall not enter tournament player cannot finish. Player
shall not enter a tournament (including mandatory consolation)
knowing the player will be unable to finish." p119 Friend at
Court.
In theory, the Junior Competition Committee feels that it is
important to adopt and strongly enforce National's ruling on the
Suspension Point System. In recent years, several players have been
pulling out of tournaments, especially L3-5 events, on the final
day of competition or once a player is in the back draw.
USTA Southwest Dress Code
All players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire. Cut off
shorts, bare midriffs, compression shorts & tights (alone), or
any other attire that is simply recreational and not tennis
oriented is not acceptable.
