|
REGISTRATION ISSUES
For on-line registration issues, email linkteam@usta.com. Remember that your name should appear on the Applicants list shortly after you register. For mail-in entries, remember that the entries must be in the hands of the tournament director by the deadline. No late entries will be accepted. |
ENTERING the TOURNAMENT
* This tournament accepts on-line registration, as well as mailed entries. ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS PREFERRED. * The fee for this tournament on-line is $39.20 for Singles and $33 for each player in Doubles or Mixed Doubles. The amounts include the tournament registration fee plus TennisLink fees.

* Players who register on line will receive a confirmation from TennisLink at the end of their on-line registration process.
* All issues with on-line registration should be directed to linkteam@usta.com, not the tournament director. The tournament director does not manage on-line registration and does not have access to the credit card information you enter. * Remember to enter before the deadline. Mail in entries must be in the hands of the tournament director before the deadline, and the tournament director/staff are not responsible for entries lost in transit.
|
EVENTS
Players may enter two events (one Singles and either Doubles or Mixed Doubles, or Doubles, Mixed Doubles or Special Event [e.g., F/S, M/D). Players will not be allowed to play in two different age divisions in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles or Special Event.

* No refunds after the deadline.
* Withdrawals will be reflected on-line through 12:00pm the day before play begins each day.
* Players may not withdraw from first round main draw and play consolation. This condition is the Referee's decision for this tournament.
* Preferred method of withdrawing AFTER the deadline is in writing by email: atc@arlingtontx.gov. * Include name and divisions, and indicate if the withdrawal is for Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles or a combination of events.
* Players may withdraw from Singles, Doubles or Mixed Doubles only, and still play in the other event(s). However, players must be very clear in the email communication that they are withdrawing from Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles or a combination of events.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions are allowed, including for players injured during warm-up, if the player/team/partner has not played a match or received a first round advancement default due to misconduct, and if the substitution does not invalidate seeding.
|
--------------------
|
DOUBLES
* Players MUST SPECIFY a partner when registering for Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
* Once the deadline passes, players whose partners did not register (or who are not eligible) may be removed from the tournament.
* Before the deadline and before registering for Doubles or Mixed Doubles, confirm your partner is playing, that he/she is eligible, and that he/she is playing with you, not someone else. Just because you list someone as your partner and you enter his/her USTA number, that does not mean they have registered and listed you as their partner.
|
--------------------
|
FORMATS

* First Match Loser Consolation is mandatory in all events.
* Divisions with four or fewer entries may be merged, or will be a round robin.

Players will receive points for Texas Rankings in their originally entered division, but not National points. Note: F/S and M/D will be held if two teams enter. They will not be combined with other divisions.
* For detailed questions about points, please contact USTA Texas Adult Competitive, 512-443-1334.
|
SEEDING
* Seeding will use the 'All Factors' Method, which includes use of a designated Rolling 12 Month Ranking list for seeding.
* The USTA Texas Adult and Senior Tennis Council has an appointed sub-committee to assist with seeding all Senior and Super Senior major zones.
* Seeds will be posted as early as possible.
* If a draw must be split, seeding will be done so that seeds are distributed fairly. * Early Season League Ratings do NOT apply to tournament play.
|

|
APPLICANTS and COMPETITORS
* Applicants are players who register for the tournament. Competitors are players who will play in the tournament.
* Players who enter on-line will appear on the list of Applicants.
* Prior to the deadline, the Applicants list is the most up to date list of players.
* If you do not see your name on the Applicants list within a few minutes after your on-line entry is complete, and you have a confirmation number, contact linkteam@usta.com.
* After the deadline (within 24 hours), the Competitor list will reflect all players who are entered in the tournament. The Competitors list is subject to change based on eligibility and withdrawals. * IF YOUR NAME IS ON THE APPLICANT LIST, BUT YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR NAME ON THE COMPETITORS BY SUNDAY, AFTER THE FRIDAY NIGHT DEADLINE, EMAIL ARLINGTON TENNIS CENTER, atc@arlingtontx.gov. * The Competitors list may be updated if players are removed from the tournament (e.g., ineligible).
* If you withdraw before the deadline, your name should be removed from the Applicants list. If you withdraw before the deadline, and your name is still on the Applicants list (remember to refresh), contact linkteam@usta.com
* If you withdraw after the deadline (and before draws are completed), your name WILL STILL APPEAR on the Applicants list. We cannot remove your name from the Applicants list after the deadline.
