Welcome to the 2014 Level 4 Labor Day Masters. Matches are played indoors and outdoors. TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER. PLEASE CHECK THE WEB SITE. The draws and any information regarding scheduling are posted on this web site.

OFFICIATING
Play will be subject to the rules of the USTA. The USTA Point Penalty System will be enforced throughout the tournament. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. USTA Certified Umpires will be present for all matches.

DRAWS AND MATCH TIMES
Singles and doubles
draws will be published August 25. The earliest
doubles rounds start Friday, August 29 after the Player Party. The earliest singles rounds start in the morning
Saturday, August 30. All singles draws
are double elimination and doubles draws are single elimination. Doubles finals will be played Sunday or
Monday. Singles finals, playoff for 3rd
and 4th and quarters and semis of consolations will be played Tuesday (possibly earlier for the girls). Consolation finals will not be played due to
the number of matches per day that can be played using a best of three scoring
format. DUE TO POSSIBLE DRAW CHANGES ALL TIMES ARE NOT OFFICIAL UNTIL AUGUST 29!!! TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BEFORE THAT DATE.

CELL PHONE POLICY
Cell phone use at Boulder Country Club is limited to the Athletic Center vestibules or outside by pool area. There is no cell phone use allowed in the rest of the Athletic Center. Thanks for being respectful of this rule.

SEEDING POLICY
Seeding
for all Intermountain tournaments is taken from the current ITA Standing’s
List. Doubles seeds are also taken from
the ITA Doubles Standings list. There
are exceptions in both singles and doubles for players ranked in the top 100 nationally
in a lower age division.

DOUBLES
If
you have requested a doubles partner you need to check the competitor’s list (NOT the player’s list) to see if a partner has
been provided.

SCORING
All
singles matches are best two out of three sets, and all doubles matches are
eight game pro-sets with a seven point tie-breaker at eight-all.

WAIT-LIST
If
there are more than 64 players applying, entry will be based on the most recent
ITA standing. The top 64 players
applying will be accepted. Players
receiving a confirmation number online are not guaranteed a spot. The confirmation is verification that your
registration has been processed.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
Due to the large number of out of state participants no time avoidances are
possible. In terms of return flights
please make arrangements so you can complete all of your rounds of play. All tournament play will be completed by late
afternoon on Tuesday, September 2.

PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts are not available at BCC but there are several public facilities to use.

DRESS CODE
All players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire. Boys-no tank tops or very low riding shorts. Girls-top and skirt should touch. Questionable attire is subject to the Site Director's discretion.

WHO GETS WHAT COURT
Matches are played indoors and outdoors. Priority to get an indoor court goes to players who check in first.

DIRECTIONS TO BCC
Directions to BCC: Follow Highway 36 west to the Foothills exit. Take Foothills Parkway to Arapahoe Road and turn right. Take Arapahoe east approximately 3 miles to 75th St. and turn left. Take 75th north to Clubhouse Road and turn left. BCC is 3 blocks straight ahead. FROM I-25 go north to Highway 52. Go west on Hwy. 52 to 95th St. Go left on 95th to Lookout Rd. Go right on Lookout to 75th St. Turn left on 75th and go to Clubhouse Rd. (the first right) and turn right on Clubhouse Rd.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, July 29, 2014 11:59:00 PM Mountain Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
