SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: Courts are a bit wet. Early round matches
this morning (8:00 to 10:00) plan to check in at your match time
vs. 30 min ahead of Schedule. Schreiner courts are a bit more wet
than HEB. Everyone have a great day and have fun!!!
MODIFIED FORMATS: Each site will have a written list of the
match formats for each draw. They vary dependent on many factors -
please note specifically the format for each division
playing.
SITES: The following Divisions will play at Schreiner University,
2100 Memorial, Kerrville. From main entrance, go right when the
road forks - courts on the right. Facility has covered/elevated
seating. There will be player ice water on site, but no other
concessions. The schedule is busy and tight, please back snacks,
etc. in the event you are unable to leave for a lunch
break.

POINTS: TX Section: Adult-100; Senior-200; Super
Sr-200.
National: Adult, Senior, Super Sr-Local: 1x.
TEXAS JUNIOR POINTS: Super Champs- Tier 5 Standing points;
Champs-Level 2 Ranking points.

Please note that due to the weather forecast, we have added
Schreiner University as a tournament site and some divisions will
play early rounds at that site. Please pay close attention to the
site indicated on each draw line. We added the site in hopes of
getting all Saturday matches played in the event of a weather
delay.
SCHEDULE: All divisions will begin on Saturday unless you have been
contacted to play on Friday. Due to rain in the forecast for
Saturday, we are trying to play some matches on Friday.
FORMAT: Players can play two events - one singes and one doubles OR
two doubles. All divisions will play a consolation bracket unless
they are in a round robin. (Guaranteed two matches).
SINGLES: Match format for Adult & Junior divisions will be 2
out of 3 Sets with a 10 point tie-break in lieu of a 3rd set.
Regular AD scoring.
10 & Under Co-ed division will play 2 out of 3 - 4 Game Sets,
no-ad scoring with 7 point tie-break in lieu of 3rd Set.
DOUBLES: Adult Divisions: 2 out of 3 Sets with 10 point tie-break
in lieu of 3rd set.
Junior Doubles Divisions:
(Girls 16, Boys 14 and Boys 16) 8 Game Pro Set, ad scoring with
tie-break @ 8 all.
(Boys 18 and Girls 14) 2 out of 3 Sets, Ad Scoring with 10 point
tie-break in lieu of 3rd set.
COMBINING DRAWS: Divisions with low entries will be combined with
another division. Please email and/or call with questions on
possibly combining of divisions.
Note: Parent/Child and Mixed 65 doubles do not count for USTA Texas
ranking points.
SEEDING: USTA Texas recommends the "All Factors Method" of seeding
for Ad/Sr/SS divisions and that Committees use the Texas 12 Month
Rolling Standings List for initial considerations. If other
information is to be considered (such as head-to-head wins), emails
must be sent to the Tournament Director immediately after the entry
deadline.
