MATCH FORMAT - THIRD SET MATCH TIEBREAK
In order to ensure a good pace of play and to keep matches moving, all matches in singles and doubles, front draw and consolation, will use a match tie break in place of a third set. If you split sets, you use the same procedure as a set tie break, except that a match tie break for the win is the first player or team to 10 points, by a margin of 2 points.

Email is our preferred method of communicaiton. Please email us at the directors address above if you have any questions. We have found that when things are written out, there are markedly fewer discrepancies and it leaves an electronic audit trail that can be reviewed should there be any points of contention. SENIOR DIVISIONS
The senior divisions usually have a good amount of participants, but not as much as the younger divisions. We try and play all the senior divisions toward the end of the tournament, December 28, 29, 30, 31, so that players do not have to spend any more time in town than is necessary.

SEEDING - EMAIL YOUR INFO

AMATEURS - I.T.A. FORMS
One of the key areas of concern is that all amateurs, and especially college players, make sure they comply with all rules and regulations so that no one jeopordizes their collegiate eligibility. Since this is a prize money tournament, you MUST have the permission of your collegiate coach, university athletic department and the league of which your school is a member. This link is to the ITA and yo can download the forms required if you seek any forms of reimbursement for expenses. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure all rules are complied with, not the tournaments or adminstrators. High School players or participants under 18 are not allowed to receive any reimbursements of any kind.

AREA HOTELS
Elysium Tennis Club has a Plain City mailing address, but the club is located on the western edge of Dublin, on the northwest edge of Columbus, Ohio, right next to the home course of Jack Nicklaus and Muirfield Golf Club. From experience, to get the best deals, it is best to call hotels directly, rather than going through their corporate reservation desk, usually located in another country. The phone numbers are listed for each hotel. Here is a list of the hotels that are closest to the tennis club, they are the same ones that hold the huge crowds for the Memorial Golf Tournament. They are all located on the I-270 outerbelt or Route 33 on the Northwest side of Columbus, and are within three miles and a five minute drive of the club.
