We had a great first day today and are looking forward to day 2 of the Clem Easton tournament!
We are still hopeful that the weather will hold out for us on Friday, but have arranged indoor backup in the event of rain at The Enfield Tennis Club, 226 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Will provide another update in the morning, or players can call or text Karen at 413-219-5151.

Notes
Sectional Events:
Men's 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 Singles;
Men's 85, 90 Doubles
Women's 75 Singles
Women's 70, 75 Doubles
Sectional Events are for New England Section players only.
(However, in order to increase the draw in the 80 and over
divisions, the Director with consultation with USTA, may make an
exception and admit out-of-section players, as has been done in
previous years.)
First Match Loser Consolation (FMLC) will be available for all
events and will generally use an 8-game pro-set format.
Entries for the doubles close at the same time as for the singles,
and the doubles draw will be done at the same time as the singles
draw. Interested players should enter even without a partner. The
tournament will put unpaired players in contact with each other and
will refund entry fees to those who remain without a partner.
On-line registration is encouraged for all players, but
registration by mail is available. For mail-in registration forms,
contact the tournament director per information above. Entry fees
listed above are for on-line registration. For mail-in
registration, entry fees are $41.00 for singles and $26.00 for
doubles. Field Club members and their partners are half
price.
This is a family-run, player-friendly event, run in an open and
enjoyable atmosphere. Prizes and certificates for all winners and
finalists. Free Gatorade, bottled water and snacks are provided.
Snack bar and pool are available.
No pets allowed by order of Club management.
