55s and under play for both singles and doubles may start on friday afternoon and will play for the most part on the weekend. 60s and over may play during the late am to late afternoon wednesday thru friday. This scheduling may be changed due to large draws or incliment weather.

Scheduling
If this is a one weekend event then all play will be completed over the dates listed. If it is a 2 weekend event then we will try to complete all play over the first weekend unless we have large draws or incliment weather. Draws will be posted no less than 72 hrs before the tournament. Please check for your start time online only. Please do not call for your start time. If you sign up for an age category, the tournament reserves the right to move you down an age group or two if the tournament decides there are not enough entries in an your age category. Also the tournament reserves the right to move you up one ntrp rating or age level if there are no other players signed up in your level. This is the rule for both singles and doubles. No avoidance requests will be taken for this tournament. The tournament also reserves the right to adjust this tentative schedule if entries are larger than usual.

Match format
Singles: All singles matches are 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a third set. Doubles: All doubles matches are 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a third set. All divisions are single elimination. Free Beer and snacks all day everyday!!!!

Contacting the director and check in
If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email the director at hunterhg@comcast.net. Also, please call the director at 925 368-8882. Please list your name, division and reason for the withdraw. No refunds or credits will be given for excused or unexcused withdraws after the deadline! The director will contact you to confirm the withdraw. All players should check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. Make sure you check in directly to the site that you are assigned. You may find this information when you check your start time on the draws. LTC is the Lafayette Tennis Club. NGH is Northgate High School.

Draws are subject to change
All draws are subject to change. Please recheck draws for changes in time and or withdrawals. All changes made within 24 hrs of tournament start will be phoned to the affected parties. doubles times may change if you were scheduled to play a team with only one player. Remember that both players on a team must sign up for doubles before the deadline. You must have your partners USTA # to do this. No late entries will be accepted.

Draws will be posted no later than Wednesday 8/18/10 before 8am. Please only ck the internet for your start time. Phone requests for start times will not be accepted.

Directions to Lafayette Tennis Club, -LTC-
For directions to the Lafayette Tennis Club (3125 Camino Diablo, Lafayette, CA 94549, (925) 937-2582), please use the following link to Yahoo maps --> Off of the 24 take the Pleaseant Hill Rd exit North, rt on Stanley then Right on Camino Diablo. You will see our exit sign first. Keep going and you will hit our entrance sign, then turn right down a steep drive. We are located in a hisdden glen. Make sure to allow ample time for traffic. We are located close to the freeway so it is an easy drive for most players.

Free beer, bottle wather and snacks will be provid
There will be snacks and bananas provided all day along. Also, bottled water will be provided for you before your match and free beer after your match!

Practice courts
During the tournament no practice courts will be open at the Lafayette Tennis Club. Acalanes High School is a stones throw away from the club and is open to the public. The address is 1200 Pleasant Hill Rd. Take the Pleasant Hill rd exit North and continue on Pleasant Hill until you see the courts on your right hand side. The Lafayette Tennis Club is a 2 minute car ride away.

Dress Code
Proper tennis attire is required on the courts at all times. Collared shirts are not required. All running shoes including non marking running shoes ar prohibited. Black soled shoes except for barricades and other tennis shoes are prohibited as well. You will be defaulted if you cannot find a replacement pair of shoes within 15 minutes after your match time. This rule will be strictly enforced, no exceptions. Shorts, skirts or sweats with pockets or some system to hold an extra ball is required. No cuttoff jeans are allowed on the courts. If you look good on the court you will play better!!!

Rain Delay Information
It is tuesday the 9th at 9p and the courts are mildly wet. It should stop drizzling at about midnight. We will update this message if there will be any sort of delay at about 845 to 9am. If you are reading this message then there is no delay! Make sure to check in at least 20 minutes before your match. There is no penalty for being early. Lateness penalties will be strictly enforced!

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
