LATE ENTRIES
Late entries may be accepted or a new player may be substituted into the draw if the Tournament Committee determines that the ability of a new player does not invalidate the seeding. Boy's and Girl's 16'S Divisions will be played at Clemson University in CLEMSON, S.C. The address of the site is: Hoke Sloan Tennis Center, Hwy 93, Clemson S.C. 29634. The Clemson site is approx.45 min to 1 hour from Furman Univ. and 30 minutes to Anderson.

WITHDRAWALS
Please also note we cannot accept telephone withdrawals. All Withdrawals after entries close must be sent in writing by E-mail to GLINKSC@GMAIL.COM. Please be aware if a player withdraws for any reason other than Illness, Injury, or Personal Circumstance, suspension points can be given to that player. We will be checking if players that withdraw from the Bullfrog tournament are playing in other tournaments that same weekend. NO Refunds will be issued for players withdrawing after Saturday, April 23rd, 2011 after 8:00 AM as per Friend At Court National Regulations. Any player who withdraws after this point or during the tournament (for any reason) will receive 1 (one) suspension point from Southern USTA. (Rule Brought forward from 2010) A player defaulting during the tournament MUST see the Trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Players need to be aware that they cannot just tell anyone at the desk but must request the default from the Head Referee in person or it will be counted as a “No Show” which carries a penalty of 5 suspension points.

DRESS CODE
For Boys: Any T-Shirts must be plain or tennis related. No underwear should be visible above waist band or below hemline. Shirts must be worn at all times. Shorts must be worn appropriately.
For Girls: Any T-shirts must be plain or tennis related. Skirts and shorts must be worn appropriately. The bottom of your shirt must touch the top of your skirt or shorts while standing upright- shoulders back. This means do not roll down your skirts or shorts. Thank you for your cooperation.

TWO SIGNIFICANT RULE CHANGLES FOR 2011
Juniors receive a mandatory 10 minute rest period after the second set in a best of 3 set match. Coaching is permitted during this 10 minute authorized rest period.
Juniors receive a mandatory 3 minute rest period after the second set when a match-tiebreak is played in lieu of the third set. The player must stay on the court and coaching is permitted.
Please note that coaching is NOT ALLOWED during a 2-minute set break.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest Standing List..56 players from this age group will be selected and up to 8 players from the younger age group who are eligible for the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 80 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 56, will be selected.

ENTERING TWO TOURNAMENTS:
Players are cautioned not to enter two tournaments at the same time. Suggestions to avoid being penalized: If you are listed on the Alternate List, you must with-draw from the Alternate List first and then enter the 2nd Tournament. Tournaments have been assigned different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes.

IMPORTANT - ENTERING TWO DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two Divisions with these guidelines: (This is for selection only you cannot play two divisions at one tournament). (1) Players selected to both age Divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They will be removed from the other age division. (2). Players NOT selected to either of the two divisions entered would remain on the alternates lists for both Divisions but will be required to play in the first Division in which they are selected from the Alternates list. They will be removed from the Alternates list in the other Division.(3) Players selected to one age Division will be removed from the Alternates List of the division they were not selected. (4) Once a player is selected to a Division a player will not be allowed to change to another Division after the selection process.

FORMAT AND SCORING
Draws will be 64 players with a Full Feed In through the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Feed-in Consolation will be the best two out of three sets and will play a 10 point match tie break in lieu of third set. Main Draw will play two rounds each day.The Consolation draws will play one match on Saturday, three matches on Sunday and three on Monday. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change.

NEW USTA SEEDING INFORMATION
USTA Southern Level 1, 2 and 3 Tournaments. SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Definition of Most Recently Published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists: Southern Designated Published List at least 8 days prior to tournament start. In addition to the list, other criteria to consider: Players who have a standing in the next younger age division may be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of any younger age division. Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 1000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding.

ALTERNATES
The alternates by Event Report will be updated daily. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot come. It is the alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will make every effort to contact you if your status changes and as a result you are selected to play in the tournament. You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile. The tournament will not be responsible for a player not selected in the event the tournament cannot contact him/her due to incorrect or outdated contact information. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately.

NEW RULE FOR MATCH CHECK-IN
Regulation IV.A.2 now states "The Referee may penalize a player who is on site for lateness if a court is available and the player has failed to check-in at the tournament desk by the scheduled match time. IF THERE IS 1 OPEN COURT AT 10:00 AND THERE ARE 3 MATCHES TO PUT ON: THE REFEREE WILL START THE CLOCK FOR LATENESS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT CHECKED IN FOR 10:00. (EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH COURTS FOR ALL 3 MATCHES)

ON SITE ALTERNATES
"On Site" Alternates must inform the Referee in person they are on-site. On-Site Alternates will be selected in the order of the Alternates List. On Site Alternates should be on-site when their age and gender check in for play.
