Change in B16 Seeding 3/30/11
Due to an administrative error a player was omitted from the B16 draw. Adding this player increased the number of seeds to 8 rather than 4. The correction has been made.

NEW THIS YEAR!
This will be a true GA-FL tournament! BG10, BG12 and BG14 play in Bainbridge, Georgia. BG16 and BG18 play in Tallahassee, Florida.

ENTERING TWO TOURNAMENTS (Including those on the Alternate List)
Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list, you must withdraw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event.

ATTENTION-NEW USTA RULES FOR 2011
When using a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu of the full 3rd set, there will be a mandatory 3 minute break. Coaching will be allowed during this break. No new balls.
When playing a full 3rd set, there will be a mandatory 10 minute break between the 2nd and 3rd sets for ALL age divisions. New balls for the 3rd set.
Line calls changed from "out" to "in" no longer result in a let. The player who made the incorrect call now loses the point regardless of their subsequent shot.

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN
Please complete the medical release form (see link below under "Notes" and bring with you to the tournament. For BG10 BG12 and BG14 Check -in for the tournament is Friday at Bill Reynolds Tennis Center from 3:00pm-9:00pm. If you are not able to check-in Friday, you will need to check-in at Bill Reynolds Tennis Center before you play your first round match on Saturday.
For BG16 and BG18 Check In for the tournament will be 30 minutes prior to your first match on Saturday at the site where you are playing. Be sure to bring your completed medical release form with you to avoid being late for your match time. Checking in is not an excuse for being late for your match.

G10 will play a Round Robin.

SCORING REGULATIONS/FORMAT OF PLAY
For BG 12, 14, 16, 18: All main draw SINGLES matches will be best of three tiebreak sets. New balls will be provided for the third set.
Consolation matches will be 2 Tiebreak sets. A match tie-break will be played at 1 set all (10 points by 2).
For BG10: Main and consolation singles matches will be 2 tiebreak sets. A match tie-break will be played at 1 set all (10 points by 2). Play will be on 60 foot courts, using orange balls and rackets 25 inches or less.
The consolation will be a full feed-in through the quarterfinals.
There will be a playoff for third and fourth places in the main draw singles.
DOUBLES matches will be one 8 game Pro Set. A match tiebreaker (10 points by 2) will be played at 8-all.

The tournament will be using several alternate sites in the surrounding area.
BG10, BG12, and BG14 will be playing in Bainbridge. BHS and YMCA will be used for practice courts unless needed for matches.
BG16 and BG18 will be playing in Tallahassee. BG16 will be playing on clay.

TIME LINE
Sunday, March 27, 11:59pm - Online Entries and withdrawals with refund close. No refunds for withdrawals after this date and time.
Monday, March 28 - Selections for ontime entries by tournament director by 5 pm
Tuesday, March 29, noon - last date and time for late entries. Late entries will be placed at the end of the alternate list in order of time of entry request
Tuesday, March 29, midnight - Doubles partners must be designated by midnight.
Wednesday, March 30 – draws will be made at 10 am. First match times will be posted by 9 pm.
Friday, April 1 – Draws will be posted by 3 pm.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
Based on 64 draw size in Singles and 32 draws size for Doubles
Saturday – 1st round Doubles followed by 2 rounds Main draw singles and 1st round Consolation
Sunday – 1 round Doubles, 2 rounds of consolation singles, 1 round Main draw singles, QF round Doubles
Monday – SF round Doubles, 2 rounds of consolation singles, 2 rounds Main draw singles
Tuesday – Final of Doubles, 2 rounds of consolation singles, Finals and 3/4 Playoff Main draw singles
Please note that the Consolation will be played through the semis unless draw sizes are smaller than expected.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Entry for BG12, BG14, BG16, BG18 will be based on selection criteria of 56 from the age group of the event and up to 8 from the lower age group who do not get in the first 56, and who are in the top 80 of the standings in the lower age group at the time of selection.
Entry for BG10 will be based on selection criteria of the top 32 players applying from the latest USTA/Southern standing list.

SEEDING INFORMATION
Seeds will be determined using a modified all factors method with consideration given to National and Sectional standings.

DOUBLES SIGN UP
We will be playing doubles on the first day of the tournament. You must play doubles in the same age group in which you were accepted for singles.
If you are playing doubles ONLY, then the fee is $25.00, which is payable at the first doubles match.Please sign up with your partner before the entry deadline. Once the deadline has passed you will need to email the referee by Tuesday evening, March 29 at midnight with the name of your doubles partner and their USTA number. If you do not have a doubles partner at that time, the referee will randomly select one for you. There is no guarantee that you will end up with a doubles partner if you wait for random selection. If you do not want to be randomly assigned please notify the referee to remove your name from the doubles applicant list.

GEORGIA LEVEL 2 TOURNAMENT. STA LEVEL 4 TOURNAMENT. CONSOLATION
- FIC Singles & 3/4 Playoffs. Boys/Girls 10s MUST play all
matches on a 60' court with a 25 " racket and use low compression
balls. JR. SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM IN EFFECT. SIGN UP FOR DOUBLES
ONLINE - Doubles play will start the first day of the tournament.
T-shirts. Scoring format for BG18-12: Singles: Main draw - Regular
scoring (2 out of 3 sets), BG10s and Consolation - 2 out of 3 sets
with 3rd set match tie-break, Doubles: 8-game pro-sets with a match
tie-break at 8-all. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - This is a State
Championship tournament.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
