9 AM MATCHES WILL BE AT 10 AM SATURDAY MORNING. ALL OTHER MATCHES AS REGULARLY SCHEDULED.

AMPLE REST WILL BE ALLOWED BETWEEN MATCHES. MEN'S 70 DOUBLES DRAW REFLECTS THE NEW TIMES IN ORDER TO GIVE AMPLE REST FROM YOUR SINGLES MATCHES.

First match times are posted. Sorry for the delay. At last minute we had deletions and additions and we wanted to get it right. Any questions or concerns contact Susie Honeycutt at 843-293-5158. There are only 3 Thursday matches starting at 4 PM.

TOURNAMENT HAPPY HOUR:
Friday, October 28th 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Saturday, October 29th 4:00pm – 6:00pm

RULES:
All USTA rules will apply. The 15-minute default rule
will be enforced. Warm-up will be limited to 10 minutes.
Regular scoring will be used. Best 2-of-3 sets. A 7-point
tie-break will be used in any set. Players must have
a current USTA membership prior to the tournament.

COURTS
The har-tru courts at the Van Der Meer Shipyard Tennis
Resort will be used for all 35s-80s. Open divisions will be
played on hard courts. In the event of inclement weather,
scoring, court surface, and site may be changed.

BALL:
The official tournament ball is Dunlop®.
|
|
DRAWS:
All events will be limited to 32 entries. Players are limited
to 2 events: 1 singles and 1 doubles, or 2 doubles events.
Draws with 4 or fewer entries may be Round Robins.
Only divisions with full draws will play on Wednesday,
October 26th. These players will be contacted as soon
as playing times become available. 1st match times will
be posted on-line and at the tournament site on Tuesday,
October 25th at 1:00pm. Players may call 843.290.4561 for
match times on Tuesday only between 3:00pm – 7:00pm.

PRIZES:
Prizes will be awarded to winners and finalists in each division
of 4 or more. Cash prizes of $400 will be awarded to the
winners in all Open Divisions. Cash prizes are dependant on
draws of 16 players for singles and 8 teams for doubles.

|
AWARDS:
DRAWS WITH 5 OR MORE WILL RECEIVE FIRST AND SECOND AWARDS. ROUND ROBINS WILL BE WINNERS ONLY.
|
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, October 23, 2011 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
