PLAYER PARTY UPDATE

THE TOURNAMENT PLAYER PARTY WILL BE FRIDAY AT 6:30 PM INSTEAD OF SATURDAY. WE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE SCHEDULE BECAUSE OF THE USC AND CLEMSON GAMES ON SATURDAY AS WELL AS OUR TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE. UNO WILL BE PROVIDING THE FOOD WITH THEIR DELICIOUS RATTLESNAKE PASTA, VEGGIE PASTA, SALAD, AND BREADSTICKS. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE PLAYING AT THE TIME WHEN THE FOOD IS SERVED PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE WILL BE GLAD TO SAVE A PLATE FOR YOU!

GIFTS AND AMENITIES

All tournament participants will receive a T-Shirt and 2 dinner tickets for the FRIDAY (6:30PM) Players Party as well as two tickets for lunch Saturday and Sunday (1 for each day). There will be fruit, lemonade, and beer available through the weekend. Sport drinks, sodas, and bottled water will be available for purchase.

$PRIZE MONEY$

Prize money will be offered for Open Divisions (Men, Women, Mixed) if more than 8 players sign up for each division (singles and doubles). Men's Open Singles Men’s Open Prize money will be as follows: 12 to 31 players $300.00 champion $150.00 finalist 32 and over $750.00 champion and $375.00 finalist.

If you have any conflicts for scheduling for Friday please let us know when you register by sending us an email to topspinrsc@aol.com and we will try to schedule your match accordingly. We will plan on starting some age divisions at 1:30PM on Friday.

Awards will be presented to the champions and finalists of each division.

DIRECTIONS TO TOPSPIN

Topspin Racquet and Swim Club is conveniently located on 5347 Sunset Blvd. (Highway 378) in Lexington, SC 29072. Take exit #61 off of I-20 and travel approx. 4 miles towards Lexington and Topspin is on your left. From I-26 take exit #110 and travel approx. 6 miles towards Lexington and Topspin is on your left.

LUNCH

Lunch will be provided for tournament players on Saturday and Sunday around 12:00 PM. Each player will receive a lunch ticket for each day at check in.

Draws will be available Thursday, September 1st

Tournament will be played with Prince Tennis Balls

PLAY

SURFACE

This tournament will be played on clay courts. Alternate surface (hard courts) maybe used at the discretion of the referee in case of large draws or inclement weather.

WEATHER

Due to inclement weather, alternate surfaces and scoring maybe used at the discretion of the referee.

SCORING

Matches will be played to the best of three tie break sets. Alternate scoring maybe used in case of inclement weather.
