PRACTICE COURTS updated Sun 9pm
Warm up courts for Monday only at Topspin before matches start at 8am. LCTC has matches starting at 8:30am and the complex opens at 8:30am so no warm up courts will be available.

SCORING
All main draw matches will be played to 3 full tie break sets. Consolation matches will play a 3rd set match tie break in lieu of the 3rd set.

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN
All participants must check in at Topspin at least 45 minutes prior to their FIRST match. Check in at least 30 minutes prior for all other matches.

ALTERNATES
It is the alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will contact you if you are selected to play in the tournament. You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile. The tournament will not be responsible for a player not selected in the event the tournament cannot contact him/her due to incorrect or outdated contact information. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately. Alternate report will be updated daily! On Site-Alternates must inform the Referee in person they are on-site. On-Site Alternates will be selected in the order of the Alternates List. On Site-Alternates should be on-site when their division checks in for play.

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN FRIDAY
Players will be able to check in Friday afternoon from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Topspin Racquet and Swim Club. This is an optional check in. This will allow you to go straight to your playing site Saturday morning. Every player has to check in at Topspin before their first match. This can be done Friday or before their first match on Saturday. Please check in at Topspin at least 45 mins before your first match of the tournament if you decide not to check in on Friday.

BOY'S AND GIRLS 10'S FORMAT
Boy's and Girl's 10s will be played based on Quickstart format this year.

MEDICAL RELEASE
MEDICAL RELEASES are REQUIRED prior to playing any matches. Parent or guardian MUST SIGN. Please look under the TOURNAMENT REPORTS section to download this form and bring it with you to registration. You may also fax this completed form to 803-951-8852

SURFACE
Boys/Girls 16's and 18's divisions will be played on CLAY courts. Boys/Girls 10's, 12's, and 14's divisions will be played on HARD courts.

CONSOLATION
THIS TOURNAMENT HAS A FULL-FEED IN CONSOLATION. (THROUGH THE QUARTERFINALS AND 3rd AND 4th PLACE PLAY OFF)

SITE/MATCH CHECK IN
Lateness will not be tolerated DEFAULTS WILL BE ENFORCED 15min AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH TIME UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN REST TIME BECAUSE OF YOUR PREVIOUS MATCH. Please make sure to check in at Topspin before your first match at least 40 minutes before. If you have checked in at Topspin you can go straight to your site and be there at least 25 min. before.

PIZZA DINNER FOR PLAYERS
There will be pizza available for tournament players at Topspin at 5:00 PM Saturday March19,2010. Players only while supplies last.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather, alternate scoring maybe used at the discretion of the referee. We will still try to play as many matches as possible.

STRINGING
Topspin will offer stringing service during the tournament with quick turn-around time. We have some Prince, Wilson, Babolat, and Gamma strings in stock and we will string your racquet if you bring your own string. Please see Pro Shop for details.

HOSPITALITY
There will be bagels, orange juice, fruit, PB and Js station, and lemonade for the tournament participants at Topspin Racquet and Swim Club. Powerade and sodas will be available for purchase in the Pro Shop. In addition, we will have a Hot-dog station at Topspin for players and parents to make their own snacks from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Saturday and Sunday.

DIRECTIONS TO TOPSPIN
Topspin Racquet and Swim Club is conveniently located on Highway 378 in Lexington, SC. Take exit #61 off of I-20 and travel four miles towards Lexington and Topspin is on your left. From I-26 take exit #110 towards Lexington and travel 6 miles Topspin is on your left.

Rawls Creek--RC (2121 Lake Murray Blvd., Columbia)

Turn left out of Topspin and travel 0.5 miles.
Take a right at light after Publix, onto Old Cherokee Road and travel 0.5 miles
Right at the light onto SC-6 / N. Lake Drive and travel 4.5 miles.
SC-6 / N. Lake Drive will become SC-60 / Lake Murray Boulevard at the light after the dam.
Travel 0.8 miles on Lake Murray Boulevard.
Rawls Creek will be on the right.

DIRECTIONS TO IRMO HIGH SCHOOL
Irmo High School--IRMO (6671 St. Andrews Road, Columbia)

Turn left out of Topspin onto Hwy. 378.
Take a right at light after Publix, onto Old Cherokee Road and travel 0.5 miles
Right at the light onto SC-6 / N. Lake Drive and travel 4.5 miles.
SC-6 / N. Lake Drive will become SC-60 / Lake Murray Boulevard at the light after the dam.
Continue straight on SC 60 until you reach the stop light at St. Andrews Road.
Turn right onto St. Andrews Road and follow this road until you see Irmo High School on your right.
Turn right at light just after the high school.
Turn right onto first driveway beyond the football field.
Follow to courts.

DIRECTIONS TO LCTC
Lexington County Tennis Complex--LCTC (425 Oak Drive, Lexington)

Turn right out of Topspin and travel 0.3 miles.
Turn right onto Mineral Springs Road and travel 3.4 miles.
Turn right onto Oak Drive at 4-way stop sign and travel 0.7 miles.
LCTC will be on the right after Oak Grove Elementary School.

DIRECTIONS TO LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL
Lexington High School--LEXHS (2463 Augusta Highway, Lexington)

Turn left out of Topspin.
Highway 378 will curve to the right after Gold’s Gym. Take that right.
At Ben Satcher Ford continue straight on Highway 1 for 3.2 mi
Lexington High School will be on the left.
The tennis courts are behind the school

DIRECTIONS TO BALL PARK RD
Ball Park Road Recreation Complex--BP (432 Ball Park Road, Lexington)

Turn left out of Topspin. Highway 378 will curve to the right after Gold’s Gym (on right). .
Take that right. Highway 378 will become Highway 1 at Ben Satcher Ford (on left).
Travel another 1.8 miles and Turn left onto Ball Park Road.
Tennis courts will be on the left

DIRECTIONS TO GOLDEN HILLS
Golden Hills Country Club--GH (100 Scotland Drive, Lexington)

Turn left out of Topspin and travel 0.3 miles.
Turn left at the second light onto Scotland Drive and travel 0.2 miles.
Continue following the road around to the left until you see the tennis courts.

WITHDRAW AFTER ENTRIES CLOSED
If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email your request to topspinrsc@aol.com. This email must have a request to be withdrawn, reason why, players name, USTA #, and contact information. No phone calls please, we need written proof of your withdrawal. Thank you. Players withdrawing on or after Sunday March 13,2010 will not be refunded the entry fee.

SELECTION PROCESS
Top 32 players applying from the USTA/ Southern latest Standing List. Twenty-eight (28) players from this age group will be selected and up to 4 players from the younger age group who are eligible from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 40 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 28, will be selected. The names of players who have been selected appear as 'Competitors'. Alternates are listed on the REPORT SECTION. DO NOT REFER TO THE ALTERNATES ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE OF THE WEB PAGE.(This list is not updated)

ENTERING TWO DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates’ lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alternates list. They would be removed from the alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

PLAYING TWO TOURNAMENTS
DO NOT ENTER TWO TOURNAMENTS AT THE SAME TIME. How to avoid penalties: If you end up in the alternates list, you must withdraw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes.

WITHDRAW BEFORE ENTRIES CLOSE
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online with your confirmation number you get when you registered for the tournament. Click on edit registration, and then withdraw. You will get a confirmation number- KEEP THIS NUMBER! Without the confirmation number, you will not have proof of your withdrawal.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
