Singles will be played beginning with 8:00 am matches and doubles will be played in the afternoon after singles. TIME TO BE DETERMINED FOR DOUBLES.

The singles times are on the draws now. Please throw away any other draw that you may have printed prior to 4:39pm, Dec. 27.

All 1st round doubles matches that were scheduled for this morning are to report to Franklin Creek Tennis Center at 4:00 pm today, Tuesday, Dec. 27th.

The updated singles times are still being worked on but will be on line by 6pm tonight. NO SINGLES WILL BE PLAYED TODAY!

Check the tournament home page for another update at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 27th. We are hoping to play 2 rounds of doubles today.

A NEW Singles draw(s) will be posted later today. Throw away any draws that you downloaded for singles.

This is a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Tournament

Tournament directors do not have access to phone numbers and email addresses of the tournament participants UNLESS the player re-enters their contact information at the time of the event registration. This means that if a player does not enter their phone number and email information each time they register for a tournament, the tournament director will not be able to contact them for any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, etc. Your cooperation will ensure that the tournament directors can continue to communicate necessary information to all of the tournament players.

USTA Southern Level 1, 2 and 3 Tournaments. SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. (Southern Designated Published List at least 8 days prior to tournament start). In addition to the list, other criteria to consider: Players who have a standing in the next younger age division may be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of any younger age division.

These are the possible sites we will be using during the tournament.

Franklin Creek Tennis Center (FTC) - 910 Activity Drive

Marshwood Tennis Center (MTC), - 1 Palmer's Draw

Oakridge Tennis Center (OTC) - 11 Westcross Road

All 3 sites are located in The Landings and are approximately 5 minutes away from each other. You MUST drive through the Main Gate to arrive at each site. You will not be permitted through any other gate.

Boys and Girls 10s MUST play all matches on a 60' court with a 25" racket and use low compression balls.

SIGN UP FOR DOUBLES ON LINE! Doubles play will start the first day of the tournament. Doubles draw limited to 16 for B/G 10-14.

Singles draw limited to 32 for B/G 10-14.

Consolation - FIC Singles & 3/4 Playoffs

Singles Main Draw: Regular scoring (2 out of 3 sets)

BG 10s and Consolation: 2 out of 3 sets with 3rd set match tie-break

Doubles: 8 game pro set with a match tie-break at 8-all

WITHDRAWALS: If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online (follow the directions listed at the bottom of this message). All withdrawals after entries close must also be sent in writing by E-Mail to the Tournament Referee (19nita47@gmail.com). You must include the reason for the withdrawal, players name, players age division and USTA #. We also would like for you to include phone contact information just in case we need to call you. Please notify us immediately upon your decision to withdraw so another player will have an opportunity to be selected to play. Players withdrawing not more than 6 days before the tournament start date will NOT be refunded the entry fee as regulated by Friend At Court - National USTA Regulations.

Players are selected manually by the Tournament Director after the close of registration.

All players will need to check in & register upstairs in the Franklin Creek Pro Shop either at Early Registration on MONDAY between 3:00-7:00 or 45 minutes before their FIRST match. At time of check in/registration: please have your current USTA card and Medical Waiver ready. You will not be permitted to play unless these are handed in. Please Note: If you are playing at either Marshwood or Oakridge, you will need to check in at Franklin Creek prior to your FIRST match. After initial registration is complete, you can then check in at your designated site. Practice Courts are available on Monday, December 26th. You can reserve them starting on Monday, Dec. 26th @ 12:00 pm by calling the Pro Shop at 912.598.3500. Please make sure to check in with the Pro Shop prior to going on the court.

All matches will be played on clay unless incliment weather does not permit.

All Doubles Players MUST sign up on line to be accepted into the draw.
