WELCOME TO THE PACIFIC COAST SENIOR AND FAMILY TENNIS TOURNAMENT
This is a USTA sanctioned Category II National Senior tennis event to be held at the Berkeley Tennis Club, starting Monday May 23 and ending Monday May 30 (Memorial Day), 2011. There are 40 events from Women’s 35-75 singles and doubles and Men’s 35-85 singles and doubles. In addition, there will be 4 family events Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, and Mother/Daughter. Last year the tournament attracted nearly 400 women and men participants and included world senior champions and many national champions. The historic club consists of ten hard-court tennis courts including one championship center court and the spacious clubhouse has locker room and eating facilities. The landmark Claremont Resort and Spa is a few minutes walk from the club and has a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay Area. Players are welcome to make reservations at the hotel at 510-843-3000. Nearby shops and restaurants are across the street from the club. Come play this tournament and enjoy the surrounding area. Your family and friends will have a great time. San Francisco is just 30 minutes from the club and the famous Napa Valley wine country is 60 minutes away. The Livermore Valley and Santa Cruz Mountains wine country is a short distance away also, so there is plenty to do win or lose. Come early or stay late and enjoy the area.
