Please check the draws if you are playing in the b12 novice singles or b16 open doubles events. Your start time may have been changed.

All draws are subject to change. Please recheck draws for changes in time and or withdrawals. All changes made within 24 hrs of tournament start will be phoned to the affected parties. Any changes outside of 24hrs will not be communicated to the player. Please recheck your start time on thursday or friday before the tournament. doubles times may change if you were scheduled to play a team with only one player. Remember that both players on a team must sign up for doubles before the deadline. You must have your partners USTA # to do this. Also, doubles players may only play in their same singles age category and division. If you sign up for a novice division and there are no other novice entries, we will put you in the challenger division. Same goes for Challenger to Open. We will only bump you up one division, not two and we will never move you down a division. Also, we may move you up one age category if we do not have enogh entrants in the age division tha you signed up for. No late entries will be accepted.

The Match format for singles is best of three sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Doubles will be 8 game pro sets. Novice players format will be First round match loser consolation. All novice players will be guaranteed to have the opportunity to play 2 singles matches. There is a playoff for third and fourth place in all divisions. Please sign up for doubles with a partner before the deadline. Your entry into the doubles is free due to the combined entry fee. If you email the director we will put you on a "looking for a partner" list but cannot guarantee a partner. You and your partner must both sign up with each other before the deadline. Please email us at least 1 week before the deadline or we will not be able to attempt to find a partner for you.

If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email the director at hunterhg@comcast.net. Also, please call the director at 925 368-8882. Please list the players name, age, division and reason for the withdraw. The director will contact you to confirm the withdraw. All players should check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. Make sure you check in directly to the site that you are assigned. Lateness penalties will be strictly enforced if you check in to the wrong site. You may find this information when you check your start time on the draws. LTC is the Lafayette Tennis Club. NGH is Northgate High School. RDP is Rudgear Park Tennis Courts. The notes below have detailed directions to each site! All sites will be accepting entry fee checks! Refuse to Lose!!

For directions to the Lafayette Tennis Club (3125 Camino Diablo, Lafayette, CA 94549, (925) 937-2582), please use the following link to Yahoo maps --> Off of the 24 take the Pleaseant Hill Rd exit North, rt on Stanley then Right on Camino Diablo. You will see our exit sign first. Keep going and you will hit our entrance sign, then turn right down a steep drive. We are located in a hidden glen. Make sure to allow ample time for traffic. We are located close to the freeway so it is an easy drive for most players. more info

During the tournament no practice courts will be open at the Lafayette Tennis Club. Acalanes High School is a stones throw away from the club and is open to the public. The address is 1200 Pleasant Hill Rd. Take the Pleasant Hill rd exit North and continue on Pleasant Hill until you see the courts on your right hand side. The Lafayette Tennis Club is a 2 minute car ride away.

All matches will start at 4p or later. Most likely the tournament will run monday thru wednesday. We may have a few matches on thursday. We have lights, so matches may go late. Bring your homework up to the clubhouse if you are in school. If you are not in school then enjoy your last few days off! All matches will most likely be played at the Lafayette Tennis Club. When You check for your time, please chack the location. LTC is the Lafayette Tennis Club.

Proper tennis attire is required on the courts at all times. Collared shirts are not required. All running shoes including non marking running shoes ar prohibited. Black soled shoes except for barricades and other tennis shoes are prohibited as well. You will be defaulted if you cannot find a replacement pair of shoes within 15 minutes after your match time. This rule will be strictly enforced, no exceptions. Shorts, skirts or sweats with pockets or some system to hold an extra ball is required. No cuttoff jeans are allowed on the courts. If you look good on the court you will play better!!!
