Parking at SCU's Degheri Tennis Center- Host site
Santa Clara University will be the only site in which a parking permit is required. The school does not allow us to pre-purchase parking passes to sell to you. View the attached map for parking help. If you wish to buy a pass, you must enter the main driveway at SCU, Palm drive right across from the train station. A daily parking pass is $6. These passes are restricted and you must park in the letter spot the pass indicates, usually F or B. If you park in a C spot... at any time during the tournament YOU WILL BE TICKETED OVER $60. You are warned, do not test the SCU parking police. There are no passes that allow C parking. This is enforced 24/7. If you are attending the college night on Tuesday, parking restrictions still apply. To avoid parking fees- we strongly recommend parking on El Camino Real or across El Camino on Acolti Way. There is no fee. It is worth the short walk. Parents- please communicate to your kids that drive, questions about parking take far too much time form the tournament desk considering we communicate these issues to you ahead of time.

Racket Stringing Information:
Overnight stringing available, possible same day available.
Our site director at Mitty High School will be the official stringer of the tournament. Local pro shops are expensive and unfortunately, not that local. For overnight stringing, you can drop your racket off at either the Mitty tournament desk or SCU tournament desk and it will be available at one of the two sites the next day. The stringer may be able to do same day stringing provided you drop off your racket but it is not guaranteed and will cost more. Cost will be $15 for next day labor if you have the string to provide. If you need the string he will have a Synthetic Gut for $10, Luxilon Adreneline Regular or Rough for $15, Luxilon ALU Power Regular or Rough for $25, Sensation for $15, or NXT for $25. To discuss stringing options and turnaround time call Max at 408-455-2231.

Withdrawals are sometimes necessary, and are only excused if they are for illness, injury, or family emergency. Withdrawals made before entries closed must be handled by the player on the tournament page under edit registration. That refund will be processed once the tournament receives their final tournament fees, about a week or two after play is complete. Withdrawals dated June 7 or later are not eligible for a refund. If you must withdraw after entries close, immediately contact the referee by email. If it is the day before matches begin (Sunday), or any of the tournament playing days, please ALSO phone the tournament immediately (650) 863-4813. Give your line number on the draw if you can. Speak slowly and clearly and spell the player name if necessary be sure to give a return phone number. For any withdrawal after entries close, please include a reason so we may pass it on to the USTA if necessary.

Sectionals Preferred Hotel- Santa Clara Marriott
The SC Marriott on Great America Pkwy is once again the official tournament hotel of the Sectionals. Prices have increased this year and unfortunately we could not negotiate a better discount. The link to book is attached, we can only guarantee the discounted rate of $146 if you book by June 6. However, please still try the Marriott after the 6th if you are unable to book on time, rooms may be available at that price.
If you are looking for an alternate cheaper hotel, we recommend checking an online service focusing on El Camino Real in Santa Clara which has many lower priced establishments.
