WHAT ARE THE ZONE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS?
For each age division, the top 12 boys and 12 girls that apply for each age division will be accepted automatically. The 12 girls and 12 boys accepted will form two teams of six girls and six boys. The format is a team round-robin. Players will play one singles and one doubles match each day.

CAN YOU EARN RANKING POINTS FOR PLAYING ON A TEAM?
All players who are accepted to partcipate on a Zone Team will earn 125 ranking points for each match won. This means you could earn a total of 500 NorCal ranking points if all matches are won. You also earn national standing points as well.

IS THERE ANY FINANCIAL AID TO PARTCIPATE IN THE ZONE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS?
Yes, there is a Travel Assistance Grant available. If you are approved for the grant you can get up to $250. This grant can only be used for lodging or airfare. Complete the application and fax it back to Summer Verhoeven at (510) 748-7377 or send it to USTA NorCal, Attn: Summer Verhoeven, 1920 North Loop Rd., Alameda, CA 94502.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
