PRACTICE 60 FOOT COURTS AVAILABLE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
FRIDAY AFTERNOON 60 FOOT PRACTICE COURTS WILL BE AVAILABLE, AND ALSO 25 INCH RACQUETS FOR PLAYERS WHO NEED THEM. CHECK AT THE PRO SHOP FOR INFORMATION.

RACQUET SIZE FOR QUICK START TENNIS FORMAT ON 60 FOOT COURT
PLAYERS COMPETING IN THE QUICK START TENNIS FORMAT MAY USE RACQUETS UP TO 25 INCHES IN LENGTH. RACQUETS LONGER THAN 25 INCHES ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR QUICK START COMPETITION.

ENTRY AND REGISTRATION
Entry must be by TennisLink online registration, draws are limited to 32 singles boys and girls and each state will endorse a quota of players. The state quotas are: AL=2, ARK=2, GA=10, KY=2, LA=2, MS=2, NC=6, SC=3, and TN=3.

AWARDS AND ACTIVITIES
An outstanding player and runnerup award will be presented in boys and girls singles competitions. All players will get a Participation Medallion, and a Tee Shirt (Be sure to indicate your size during online registration.) THE TOURNAMENT WILL HOST A SATURDAY LUNCH SOCIAL FOR PLAYERS AND PARENTS.

MATCH FORMAT
The Scoring Format will be two short sets first one to 4 games with a 7 point tiebreak at 4 all and a 7 point tiebreak for the third set if needed. All matches will be on the 60 foot court using orange balls and up to 25 inches racquet.******
Players should expect to play 3 singles matches Saturday and 2 singles matches Sunday. A short warmup doubles roundrobin will be held Sunday morning.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Friday, June 11, 2010 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
