Tournament Check-In
You are required to check-in for each of your matches at least 20 minutes before the start time. Please be advised that if it is your first match of the tournament, you must check-in for the tournament AND your match at least 30 minutes prior to.
Below, you will find a link to click on and print a copy of the US Open National Playoffs Player Release and Consent Form. Please have that filled out before you check in for the tournament.

Hotel
We will be using the Courtyard Marriott - Denver Cherry Creek located on Colorado Blvd as the tournament hotel. The rooms will be based on availablity with a rate of $99 with breakfast. Please be aware that you must request the breakfast coupons upon arrival for check in. When checking in, you must tell them you are with the US Open Qualifier in order to get this rate. Gates Tennis Center
Gates Tennis Center is the location for ALL tournament matches. They require that you are wearing proper tennis shoes on court at all time. Please take note that Gates Tennis Center will also provide an on-site stringer during the length of the tournament.

Practice Courts
There should be practice courts available at the Gates Tennis Center if you are looking to warm up before your match. There may be cases when you will have to share a court with another player if there is less availablity.

Proper Attire
Make sure that you wear proper tennis apparel including tennis shoes, shorts/skirts with pockets, etc. Unacceptable attire would include sweatshirts, gym shorts, dress skirts, t-shirts, or any other inappropriate attire should not be worn during a match including the warm up. There are to be no running shoes on court (ONLY tennis shoes). You are also not allowed any technical devices while on court including cell phones, iPods, walkmans, computers, etc.

Notes
This tournament is part of the US Open National Playoffs - a
series of tournaments that gives any person 14 years of age or
older who meets the eligibility requirements the opportunity to
earn a singles wild card entry to compete in the US Open Qualifying
Tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center,
August 24-27, 2010. Participating USTA sections will run a men's
and women's Sectional Qualifying Tournament between April 1 and
July 5. Players will compete in a single elimination singles draw
played to the best-of-three tiebreak sets. Players in the draw will
not be seeded by any means. The winner of each men's and women's
Sectional Qualifying Tournament will advance to the US Open
National Playoffs - Men's and Women's Championships held at the
first men's and women's tournaments of the 2010 Olympus US Open
Series. The Atlanta Athletic Club in Atlanta, GA will host the
Men's Championship, July 22-25 during the Atlanta Tennis
Championships and the Taube Family Tennis Stadium at Stanford
University in Stanford, CA will host the Women's Championship, July
29-August 1, during the Bank of the West Classic. At each US Open
National Playoffs Championship, a maximum of 16 players will
compete in a single elimination singles draw played to the
best-of-three tiebreak sets with the one male winner and one female
winner receiving a singles wild card entry to compete in the 2010
US Open Qualifying Tournament. Go to usopen.org for additional

Player Selection TypeThe tournament director will run a "Lottery Selection Process" via TennisLink within 24 hours after the entry close date which will automatically accept all entries if the total number of entries into the tournament is less than or equal to 256 for men's singles, less than or equal to 256 for women's singles, and less than or equal to 128 teams for mixed Doubles; and, if applicable, less than or equal to 128 teams for men's doubles, and less than or equal to 128 teams for women's doubles. If the total number of entries into the tournament is greater than the above, then the "Lottery Selection Process" will determine accepted entries at random. A player's entry fee will only be processed if he/she is accepted into the tournament. All players accepted into the tournament will receive an email notification via TennisLink indicating as such and will be posted online once the "Lottery Selection Process" is run. All players not accepted into the tournament will receive an email notification via TennisLink indicating as such once the "Lottery Selection Process" is run.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, June 1, 2010 11:59:00 PM Mountain Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
