*** Important Registration Information ***
[1] The tournament format requires for each event to be limited to 8 players. To accommodate events with more than 8 players, we will create extra events at the same level.
Note: those events are required to have no less than 7 players each to ensure that everyone gets two matches. To enforce this, we had to randomly withdraw the players in those situations.
[2] For your convenience, the registration deadline is now extended to Monday 7/26 around midnight.
[3] When registering to the tournament, please make sure to provide your contact information (phone #s and email address) as we would otherwise be unable to reach you when needed (registration issues, schedule changes, withdraws, weather issues, ...).

*** Contact BOTH the Tournament Director AND the Referee: Reg., Withdraws, ...***
[1] Until the closing of the registrations, you can withdraw yourself online with your confirmation number.
[2] After closing of registration, and until the posting of the draws, please submit any withdrawal in writing first by emailing BOTH the TD and the Referee (see above), and then also CALL the TD (phone number above).
[3] After the posting of the draws, please FIRST CALL the TD and then email BOTH the TD and the Referee.

*** Event Draws Information and Match Formats ***
[1] All Singles Events will be Best of 3 TB Sets with a Match TB in lieu of a 3rd Set. Regular scoring will be used.
[2] The Tie-Break format will be the traditional format, but if BOTH players/teams agree, they can elect to use the Coman format.
[5] Be on time for your matches: Check-in at the tournament desk 15 minutes BEFORE your scheduled match times and be ready to play. Penalties for lateness will be enforced.

The Mission Peak Tennis Association is very pleased to offer a
new tournament format of a ONE DAY tournament in its NTRP Summer
Day tournament. Each draw will be limited to 8 players per event.
As needed, several draws/events will be used to accommodate the
players. In other words, we could have a M40A and an M40B.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 26, 2010 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
