players wanting to play up in age groups!
Players must enter both divisions that that they wish to enter and must inform the tournament referee. Carol Kim at ckim410s@gmail.com. When the initial selections come out, the player must let the referee know which division he/she will be choosing to play in and which one he/she will be withdrawing from. This is considered a concurrent entry and so the player will be assessed suspension points if the procedure is not followed correctly.
Please let the referee know if you are having any difficulties when registering on line.
Example: A B16 is trying to play in the B18s. He should apply to both the B16 and the B18 divisions, and also email the tournament referee about the concurrent entries so that he will not be penalized. After the selection process is completed initially, the player will notify the referee which division he would want to play in and which division he will be withdrawing from. He will be able to do this without penalty as long as he informs the referee of his decision within the time frame allowed by the national office.

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS
If you need to withdraw from the tournament after entries close, you should give a reason. The reasons that are excused are those for injury, illness, or personal emergency only. In addition, written verification from a medical professional is required by the last day of the tournament for illness or injury, and for personal emergency, a written summary of the emergency needs to be submitted by the same date for the referee to make a determination if it is excused.Any withdrawal which does not meet these criteria may result in suspension points being filed for the player.
You may withdraw any time before entries close on line without any penalty. However, after entries close a Tournament Committee is only required to refund a player’s entry fee if:• the entry is not accepted or • the withdrawal is for previously authorized entry into another tournament. In all other cases, including excused reasons, a refund is not required.
You should not be entering any tournament unless you expect to play in it or have concurrent permission to play in others in writing.
