* EMAIL * EMAIL * EMAIL *
Email is our preferred method of communication. Email can be done at any time of the day or night, and more importantly, leaves a definitive electronic trail. Email, due to the clarity of the written word, also tends to mitigate questions of what was stated, at what time, and by whom. If you have any questions, please email the tournament directors at the email address listed above. We monitor messages constantly. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE PLAYERS NAME, AND USTA #. Thank you.

PLEASE READ
Please read the information detailed in the sections below. The explanations contain just about every answer to almost every possible question that may be raised. After running tournaments for 20 years, we think we have covered just about all the bases. But, there may be some things we have missed. If that happens, please email us at the tournament directors email address listed above. We will add the info to future tournaments guidelines page. Thanks.

*** ARRIVAL TIME ***
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled match times. We usually run right on time or are a little ahead of schedule. Matches go on court in the order of when both opponents check in. So, to be on first, have you and your opponent be there a little early. This really keeps things on schedule. Thanks.

NO RAIN DELAYS
This is an outdoor tournament. If there is rain or inclement weather, we have indoor courts here, so everything will be played inside. Please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your published scheduled match time, no matter the weather. The online draws are the official reference for match times, and are always accurate.

Player Selection
Player selection process is as follows: we use a 16 player compass draw format. If 16 or fewer participants sign up for a particular division, all players that have registered for that division will be accepted into that particular draw. If there are more than 16 entrants in a division, per USTA Midwest guidelines, the highest ranked 16 will be admitted into the draw. The remaining registrants will be placed on the alternate list and be called in order of ranking should any players selected withdraw due to illness or injury. If you registered and were not selected - YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED.

Pizza, Trophies, Tee Shirt
All tournament participants can partake in a tasty pizza party, produced by Papa John's, with pop provided, on Saturday night. Pizza is delivered at 6:30 PM. Siblings are welcome, within reason, to jump in, after the players have eaten. Please use a little discretion, we want to make sure the players get enough to eat first. Trophies awarded for first, second and third places. Each player will also receive an Elysium Compass Draw tee shirt for participating. Donuts on Sunday morning for parents every now and then.
