What a tournament. The weather was perfect and we had tons of great matches. We hope everyone enjoyed the ice show and the player's party. We hope to see you all again in September.

Welcome to the Lyle Pearson Fourth of July Tennis Championships Presented by Sun Valley Resort. There will be a Player's Party on Saturday, July 3 at 6:00. WE WILL ONCE AGAIN BE RAFFLING OFF TONS OF GREAT PRIZES INCLUDING TWO NIGHT STAY AT THE SUN VALLEY RESORT AND CHOICE OF LIFT TICKETS OR ICE SHOW TICKETS. THE MORE EVENTS YOU PLAY, THE MORE CHANCES YOU HAVE OF WINNING!!!!! All participants will receive a custom-made tournament hat. IN ADDITION, SUN VALLEY WILL ONCE AGAIN OFFER ALL PARTICIPANTS COMPLIMENTARY ICE SHOW TICKETS!!!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

PLAYERS MAY ENTER THREE (3) EVENTS!!! All Open Divisions are sanctioned events. All other divisions are not sanctioned. Non-USTA members may enter. Also note that juniors may play in appropriate NTRP divisions. All singles and doubles events will offer First Match Loser Consolation. THIS GAURANTEES TWO MATCHES FOR ALL PLAYERS!!! Match format will be best two out of three sets for singles. A third set super tiebreaker will be used for doubles (first team to ten points with a margin of two points). All doubles tiebreakers will use the coman tiebreaker format.

PRIZE MONEY (estimated)

We will once again be offering the largest purse in the state of Idaho. Men's Open Division. Singles: Champion-$400, Finalist-$200, Semis-$100. Doubles: Champions-$300, Finalists-$150. Based upon dray of at least 16 players. Women's Open Division. Equal to Men's Open Division (based on percentage of entrants).

LODGING

Our tournament host has graciously extended the following room rate to all players. Dates: July 2 - July 5 Rate: $149 + tax for double occupancy Call 208.622.2151 to reserve (mention the Fourth of July Tennis Championships).
