Park City Labor Day Tournament

The following draws are Round Robins: Please be sure to check all rounds to see your multiple matches: Mixed 6.5 Doubles, Men's 4.5 Doubles, Women's 4.0/4.5 Singles, Women's 4.5 Doubles

I have scheduled the tournament to make sure that players will not have conflicting times for at least the first matches in each division. I am sure you plan to make it to the finals in every division you have entered! If you do this, I will adjust match times to make sure you have the correct amount of rest between your matches.

I have accommodated the over 40 people who requested not to play during certain times. If you have a conflict now....I will try and help, but I might be cranky since you should have told me before the courts were all booked with other matches! Please DO NOT call your opponents directly to change a match time. This puts undue pressure on them! Thanks - Laurie

The Park City Racquet Club is under construction.The main building has been demolished, so we are an outdoor facility only at this point! The tournament desk will be set up under an awning out on the tennis deck. The pools are no longer working this summer, and the restaurant is also gone! Hang in there with us while we build a great new facility! Hope for good weather and we will have a great Labor Day tourney!

Matches will begin at 5:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be all day play. Finals will be on Monday. All matches are outdoors.

Coming from Salt Lake City: Take I-80 East toward Cheyenne. Take the Park City/Kimball Junction exit and turn right at end of exit ramp. You are now on Hiway 224. Follow this for about 6 miles until you have passed a big white barn on your RIGHT. After the barn, take the 2nd left onto Holiday Ranch Loop Drive. Follow this to the first stop sign and turn RIGHT onto Little Kate. Club is up a few hundred yards on your left. Address is 1200 Little Kate, Park City 84060. Front desk number is 615-5401.

Seeding is done based on the latest standings list. If a draw could have seeded 3 teams based on number of entrants, and less than that are seeded...it is because no team had enough of a record playing together to have the computer seed you.

Matches will be scheduled on both outdoor and indoor courts. Players should come ready to play on outdoor courts, and dress appropriate to the season.

RAIN DELAY SCORING: In the event of inclement weather, play will move indoors and a match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set (1st to win 10 points). This scoring format will continue to be used until the scedule of play is brought current.

RAIN SCHEDULE OF PLAY: Order of play will be posted on a "followed by" format. Players will be expected to be ready to play when called. Late night play may be required.
