2010 NC State Closed Family Chps sponsored by Eden Rotary Club (STA 100 PT)

Eden Family YMCA - 301 Kennedy St. - Eden, NC 27288 * (336-623-8496) (Four “soft” courts at Eden YMCA) * (Three "soft" courts at Meadow Greens Country Club) (Six “hard” courts at Morehead High School – May be used for consolation play) Events are Open & Senior (Parent 60 & over) in Father/Son, Mother/Daughter, Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Doubles (1st Match Loser’s Consolation & 2nd Chance Consolation). Teams are guaranteed at least three matches. Night play under lights possible.

Players must register ½ hour before 1st match. Point penalties will be assessed for delay of scheduled match. Matches may start as early as 4:00pm Friday. Matches will be best of 3 sets with regular tie-breaker used at 6-all in all sets. At the discretion of the tournament committee, a super tie-break in lieu of third set may be used.

The draw will be available June 16th. Players are responsible for obtaining starting times. Please call 336-623-8496 on June 16th or 17th between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Awards will be given to finalists in championship brackets and winners of consolation brackets.

Open to North Carolina residents only. The parents in the senior division must be 60 or older. Otherwise, in the Open division, all teams who enter are eligible. There is no age eligibility or certain level of play required.

Lunch will be provided Saturday (12-2) by the Eden YMCA. Subway will provide lunch on Sunday. Coke will furnish refreshments. All meals are for players and guests.

From Greensboro, NC Take US-29 N towards Reidsville, Take the NC-14 / US-158 exit (Exit 153) towards REIDSVILLE / EDEN / YANCEYVILLE. At the end of the ramp, turn LEFT onto NC-14 N. Continue to follow NC-14 N for about 10 miles. At the stop light at the McDonald's, turn LEFT onto W KINGS HWY. At the stop light at the Burger King, turn RIGHT onto S KENNEDY ST. The YMCA is about 200 yards on the left. End at YMCA 301 S Kennedy St, Eden, NC 27288. From Winston-Salem, NC Take I-40 Business E towards Greensboro, Take Highway 158 (Exit 153) towards REIDSVILLE / EDEN / YANCEYVILLE. At the stop light, turn left onto Highway 68. (Highway 68 becomes 220 N.) Take Eden Exit 135 exit. At the end of the ramp, turn RIGHT at the stop light. Go 10 miles and at the stop light, turn RIGHT at the Huff's/Shell Gas Station onto Harrington Highway. Go exactly 4 miles until the road comes to a dead end. Turn LEFT at the stop light onto Highway 14N. At the stop light at the McDonald's, turn LEFT onto W KINGS HWY. At the stop light at the Burger King, turn RIGHT onto S KENNEDY ST.
