From Raleigh: I-40 W. Take Bus. I-40/Bus. I-85 (keep right). Take Route 70 almost immediately (ramp off right). Drive 2.6 miles. Take Route 70 to Greensboro. Drive 6.2 miles. Right on Battleground Ave (220N). Right on Pisgah Church. Take immediate left onto Forest Lawn Dr. (into Jaycee Park) Courts are straight ahead.

From Charlotte: I-85N. When you are near Greensboro, follow signs to Greensboro (keep right) Exit 120 (Business I-85N). Then to Holden Road exit 34 (old 121) ramp off right. Loop onto Holden Road. Drive 8 miles, then turn left on Benjamin Parkway. First light left on Battleground Ave. Right on Pisgah Church. Take immediate left onto Forest Lawn Dr. (into Jaycee Park) Courts are straight ahead.

From Winston-Salem: Take I-40E to exit 210 (Hwy 68). Turn left onto 68N (towards airport). Drive 2-3 miles. Take Bryan Blvd./Airport exit. Drive 10-15 minutes. Take Westridge Rd. exit, and loop right on Westridge Rd. Right on Battleground Ave. Left on Pisgah Church. Take immediate left onto Forest Lawn Dr. (into Jaycee Park) Courts are straight ahead.

It is the PLAYER’S responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner. Check the website often for updated match times. PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TOO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS. This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, and there will be exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic etc.)

The format is FMLC (First Match Loser Consolation). Main draw and Consolation will play the best-of-three sets playing a 10 point tiebreak in lieu of the third set.

For parents and guardians of all Boys and Girls 10’s and 12’s players playing USTA tournaments in North Carolina, you must view the USTA/North Carolina Parent Education Forum power point and bring in the form found at the end of the presentation to the tournament.

THIS ONLY MUST BE DONE ONCE and takes only about 15 minutes.

This tournament is a Futures/NC Level 5 event. Therefore, this tournament restricts those players that are ranked too high in the NC standings from playing. ALSO, IF YOU ARE INELIGIBLE FOR ONE DIVISION, YOU ARE INELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN ANY DIVISION FOR FUTURES TOURNAMENTS (i.e. If you are ranked 80 or higher in the Girls 12s, you are ineligible for the Girls 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s). Please refer to the chart below to see each division’s restriction:

Boys/Girls 18s: Top 50 in NC are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 16s: Top 80 in NC are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 14s: Top 80 in NC are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 12s: Top 80 in NC are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 10s: Top 10 in NC are ineligible for this tournament

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on “Edit Registration,” then “Withdraw.” You will need your original confirmation number. All withdrawals after entries close must both be sent in writing by email (to the Tournament Director’s address above) and by phone to the tournament site. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments.

11. “A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments is scheduled to overlap unless each tournament committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing.”

12. “Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament.”

What if placed on an Alternate List? There are two options:
1. Stay on the Alternate Lists in hope of getting into the tournament.
2. Withdraw from the alternate list so you can legally enter another tournament.

There is indoor back-up at Barber Park Indoor Tennis Center in case of a rain-out. Scheduled match times may change when it rains. ALWAYS call to find out if the tournament has gone indoors, or has only been delayed outdoors. Spencer Love: 336-545-5320 Barber Park: 336-373-5886. Do not leave messages on the recorder. DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOUR MATCH TIME HAS STAYED THE SAME on the other hand, DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOUR MATCH TIME HAS CHANGED. Match times are approximate as always, leave plenty of time to get to the main site or alternate sites recommended match check-in time is ½ hour before scheduled match time. Players are responsible for keeping up with their match times and correct sites.

From Winston-Salem: I-40E. Take Bus. I-40 E. Follow to E. Lee Street exit. Ramp off right. Left turn onto E. Lee Street. Left turn onto Florida Street at first stoplight. ½ mile Left turn into park. Courts are straight ahead.

From Spencer Love: Right out of park onto Pisgah Church Rd. Left onto Battleground Ave. After 5-10 minutes, Battleground becomes Murrow Blvd. At end of Murrow, left turn onto E. Lee St. After about 5 minutes, right turn onto E. Florida St. ½ mile Left turn into park. Courts are straight ahead.
