NC State Closed Senior Championships (Odd Yrs) (STA 100 PT)

Thanks to all the players who made this such an enjoyable tournament again this year! For next year, the tournament dates are scheduled to be 2 weeks later on the calendar ~ October 20-23, 2011. Save the Date! ADULT AGE DIVISION tournaments need your support to flourish!

Due to an error in the mens 55 singles draw it was necessary to remake the draw. Most everone ended up in a different location on the draw. Please check your new location and time

Schedules for Thursday and Friday are posted. If your event has only one match and it has not been scheduled for Thursday or Friday, it will be played on Saturday. ALL other unscheduled matches will be played Saturday and Sunday. We do have some flexibility for changing match times. However, only the referee can make a change, all players involved must agree, and all matches in a round will be played the same day.

The Friday 6:00 - 6:30 PM RECEPTION serving beer, wine and soft drinks will precede the 6:30 PM PLAYER BANQUET. Both events are free to registered tournament players and $20 for each non-playing guest. Please register yourself and any guests at the tournament registration desk. Great party to ahve fun with friends!

Singles draws will use a FIRST MATCH LOSER CONSOLATION format.This means that if you lose the first singles match you play, you will be fed into the consolation draw. Some singles draws may be small and would use a ROUND ROBIN format which has each entrant playing against all the other entrants. For doubles draws, no consolation rounds will be held. Some doubles draws may be small and would use a ROUND ROBIN format.

The tournament will be played on the historic 27 clay courts at Olde Providence Racquet Club, 5630 Sharon View Road, Charlotte, NC 28226. The club is located on 55 acres in south Charlotte.
