SUNSET HILLS CC WEST GA JR CHPS - GA LEVEL 4

We will be using three sights for play. Please check your draw. Sunset hills matches are listed as SHCC, Carrollton High school matches are listed as CHS, University of West Georgia matches are listed as UWG. Report to your listed site for your match. Again, please check your draw. If you report to the wrong site and are late arriving for your match you will be subject to time penalties.

I just learned that Carrollton High school is hosting a large track meet. Please come a little early as parking could be an issue. If the tennis lot is full there is additional parking at the junior high and elementary schools that are across the street. Please allow a few extra minutes to park and work your way to the courts.

from Atlanta: (approximately 50 miles) travel i-20 west to exit 24 (hwy. 61)-at the traffic light turn left and go across the bridge onto hwy. 61 south. travel approximately 12 miles to the intersection of hwy. 61 & 166 by pass - turn left on the 166 by pass at the traffic light. (this is 166 west, past the movie theater, ford dealership, and longhorn steakhouse, not 166 east which you will pass first) travel approximately 6 miles on the 166 by pass till it dead ends into maple street – at the traffic light turn right onto maple street – travel approximately 1 mile on maple street – turn right onto club drive at the sunset hills country club sign. (across from the university of West Georgia). Continue traveling on club drive to the stop sign - turn right at the stop sign onto west club drive - the club house is on the left.

Travel approximately 12 miles to the intersection of Hwy. 61 & 166 By Pass - turn left on the 166 By Pass at the traffic light. (This is 166 West, past the Movie theater,Ford Dealership, and Longhorn Steakhouse, not 166 east which you will pass first) Travel approximately 5 miles on the 166 By Pass . Turn right on Ben Scott Blvd. There is a traffic light at this intersection and a First Georgia Bank on the corner. Travel approx. 1/4 mile, tennis courts are on your right.

Go to your 2nd traffic light and turn left on West Georgia Drive. Drive .5 miles. Courts are on the right. Park in the Murphy Athletic administration building which is just BEFORE you reach the courts. These courts have no seating for spectators so bring your camp chairs.

In the event of inclement weather and you do not play any matches in this tournament you are entitled to a full credit toward a future Sunset Hills Tournament. There are several tournaments left for 2010. If a player would like a refund, you are entitled to a $30.00 refund. Please understand that tournaments have fixed costs which include: Trophies, T-shirts, Balls, USTA Referees, and many other costs that we must cover. The tennislink portion of your entry fee is non-refundable in accordance with USTA policy. If you do complete a match there is no refund/credit. Thank you for your understanding.
