Consolation Finals for the Boy's & Girl's 12s, 14s, 16s, & 18s will not be scheduled, and will only be played if both opponents agree to play.

- G12s - Newman(NTC) and Fleming(FTC)
- G16s - Newman(NTC) and Peterburg(PRC)
- B16s - Newman(NTC) and Diamond Lakes(DLTC)

If you do not have a Doubles Match Time
If you do not have a doubles match time then you received a Bye in the first round. We will have the second round doubles schedule by Saturday morning.

Draws Made / First Match Times / Draws Published
Draws will be made at 2 PM on Sunday Aug. 29th at NTC. First Match Times will be published at Noon on Wednsday Sept 1st. Draws will be published at 5 PM Thursday Sept. 2nd.

Doubles Team Deadline 11:59 pm Sunday Aug. 29th
If you have signed up online for doubles we still need all players and their partners to follow the procedures below to insure that you and your correct partner are paired and are in the doubles draw.
Doubles will start first on the first day of the tournament. You must have a doubles partner submited to the tournament by 11:59 PM Sunday Aug. 29th. A contact list is available to assist you in contacting others if you do not have a partner. Please follow the directions listed below.

Please remember that we will NOT pair players to make teams. All players are responsible for finding a partner.

Playing format and scoring
Draws will be 32 players with a Full Feed in Consolation through the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets.B & G 10's and Feed-in Consolation will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie-break in lieu of the third set. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change. The finals of the Consolation will not be scheduled. If both player agree to play the match it will be played Monday afternoon.

Dress Code
The Tournament committee has set A dress code in this Tournament The Rules to which all participants are expected to adhere. These Rules are based on our community standards and all participants must observe, all rules, at all of the sites used during the tournament. Good manners on and off the court will be required of all participants, coaches and family at all times.
Proper tennis attire should be worn. For females, proper attire does not include, roll down waist bands on skirts or shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or shorts. For males proper attire does not include tank tops or sleeveless shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. Shirts must be worn at all times. Please respect our standards and adhere to our rules. Failure to do so will result in the player being required to change prior to the match. This delay may result in penalties (PPS) being assessed .

Medical Release
A Medical Release is now REQUIRED prior to playing any matches. Parent or guardian MUST SIGN. Please click on more info to download this form and bring it with you to registration. You can find the form at www.gatennis.com under Junior Competitive Tennis.

Friday Check In and Tournament Dinner
We will have the friday check in at Wood Park Community Center (1866 Highland Ave., Augusta, GA 30909). Directions: coming from I-20: exit I-20 at exit 196A and follow I-520 to exit 2 (wrightsboro rd) turn left onto wrightsboro road and follow 3 miles. You will pass Newman Tennis Center on your left, and go another mile to the corner of Highland Ave. The Air Port is on your right and as you turn it will remain on your right. Follow Highland Ave. for 1/4 mile and Wood Park Community Center will be on your left, before the Fire Station.
Check in and dinner will be from 5 to 8 pm. All players, parents and family, and coaches are welcome.
If you do not check in on Friday evening you MUST check in at Newman Tennis Center, prior to going to your match site do this at least 1hour for your first match.

Balls used for Play
We will be using USPTA Pro Penn Extra Duty tennis balls for this tournament.

Withdrawing from the Tournament
Refunds: To receive a refund for the tournament you must withdraw prior to the draw being made. The draw will be made at Noon on Sunday August 29th at Newman Tennis Center.
If you have entered and wish to withdraw prior to the entry deadline please go to the tournament web page and click on Edit Registration. You will need your confirmation number that you received in your confirmation e-mail to complete the process.

Withdrawing from a match or Tournament/Refund Policy (Weather)
A player shall not enter a tournament and then withdraw when the player discovers that tough opponents have also entered. A player may withdraw from a match or tournament only because of injury, illness, or personal emergency. A player who cannot play a match shall notify the Referee at once so that the opponent may be saved a trip. A player who withdraws from a tournament is not entitled to the return of the entry fee unless the player withdrew more than six days before the start of the tournament.
In the event of inclement weather and you do not play any matches in this tournament you are entitled to a partial refund based on the fixed tournament expenses. Please understand that tournaments have fixed costs which include: Trophies, T-shirts, Balls, USTA Officials, and many other costs that we must cover. The tennislink portion of your entry fee is non-refundable in accordance with USTA policy. If you do complete a match there is no refund/credit. Thank you for your understanding.

IS NOT A GEORGIA SUPER CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT HOWEVER, IT WILL BE
AWARDED GEORGIA LEVEL 3 POINTS BECAUSE IT IS A SOUTHERN LEVEL 3
TOURNAMENT. Call for match times or check internet after Noon, Sept
1. Early check-in and Tournament Dinner will be Friday, Sept.3,
5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Wood Park Recreation Center, 1890 Highland Ave.
(players, parents & coaches welcome). Players are encouraged to
use Hotels listed on entry form. Look on Inside Backcover in USTA
Georgia Yearbook for more Hotel Information, and you will receive a
Tournament Discount. For information about Newman Tennis Center go

Draw: Regular scoring (2 out of 3 sets) Boys and Girls 10's and
Consolation (FIC): Best of 2 sets with a 3rd set Match tiebreaker
in lieu of the 3rd set. In the event of inclement weather,
alternate scoring will be used. Doubles:Follow Directions in
Doubles Anouncements, Play will be 8 game Pro Sets and will be a
single elimination Draw. CHAMPIONSHIP - Open to all players
regardless of ranking. We encourage you to use the USTA's On-line
registration but we do offer express entry. Express entry is a
faxed, e-mail, or paper entry that uses a Credit Card. There is an
additional charge for using express entry.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
