The Alternate List will be published to the TennisLink Tournament Home Page as soon as possible and no later than three days after entries close. The order of players on an Alternate List WILL NOT be changed if a new Regional Tournament Standings List is published.
Alternates selected to fill the draw will be contacted by the Tournament as soon as possible and arrangements will have to be made to pay entry fees.
On-Site Alternates. The Tournament Committee has established a procedure for checking in on-site alternates. The procedure includes the following:
• On each day in which alternates may be accepted into a draw, any alternate desiring admittance must check in and be ready for play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate. Section 9 - 7
• The order of the alternates is based on the original Alternate List published by the tournament, not a more recent National Standings List, and not in the order in which the players check in.
On-Site Alternates may be admitted into the singles main draw to replace withdrawing players until the completion of the first round of play. Any player receiving a bye in the first round can also be replaced by an on-site alternate in the second round because this player has not yet played a match in the event. This does not apply to players receiving withdrawals or retirements as these are considered matches won. On-Site Alternates may not play in the Feed-In Championship or Modified FIC unless they have first played in the singles main draw. On-site alternates must check in at the Schwartz Tennis Center by 7:30 a.m. on the first day of the event and remain on site until notified of any withdrawals.
