The USTA Legal Department has determined that they cannot provide contact information to tournament directors unless the customer provides the contact information during the registration process. Previously the home phone number and email address were pre-filled from the USTA Membership database when a player went through the online registration process. The pre-fill was removed due to privacy concerns. If you don't provide an email address and/or telephone number when you register for this tournament then we will be unable to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

If you do not provide contact information, we will be unable to notify you that you have an opportunity to be included in the draw, and we may need to move on and select the next alternate.

USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System and Signing Up for Two Tournam
Signing up for two events: The USTA Code of Conduct and Suspension Point System is in effect. You are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. The USTA/Midwest Section Junior Competition Committee has adopted a new Suspension Point System. All players will be given five (5) suspension points for entering two or more tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved agrees with the multiple entries in writing via e-mail. This applies to all players who signed up for the tournament including alternates.

2010 USTA/Midwest Section Seeding & Selection Criteria
All USTA/Midwest Sectional and Designated Tournaments will adhere to the following Seeding and Selection Criteria as set by the USTA/Midwest Section Junior Competition Committee. Players will be selected based on the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standing List at the time of the tournament entry deadline. Players will be selected by the following 1. Eight (8) players from the top 100 of the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standing List in next lower division (except in the boys and girls 12s divisions where 4 players will be selected) 2. 56 players from the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standing List in the current age division of the event (except in the boys and girls 12s division where 60 players will be accepted) Remaining vacancies and/or alternates will be selected from the USTA/Midwest Section Standing List in the division of the event. Seeding will be done based on the USTA/Midwest Section Standing List on December 30, 2009.

Order of Play
Saturday
Play begins at 10:00 a.m.
Main Draw will play 1st and 2nd round matches,FIC will play the 1st round.
Sunday
Play begins at 8:30 a.m.
Main Draw will play round of 16 and Quarterfinals
FIC Will play the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round of consolation
Monday
Play begins at 8:30 a.m.
Main Draw Semifinals, Finals and 3/4th playoff
FIC Will play the qualifying quarterfinals, quarterfinals. Finals of the FIC will not be played out.

Scoring
MAIN DRAW SCORING will consist of two tie-break sets (with a set tiebreak at six games all), followed by a match tiebreak (first player to 10 points with a 2 point lead) up to the round of 16. Starting with the round of 16, the scoring format will be best of three tie-break sets. FIC SCORING will consist of two tie-break sets (with a set tie-break at six games all), followed by a match tiebreak (first player to 10 points with a 2 point lead). Advantage scoring will be used for all matches.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Friday, December 25, 2009 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
